What a ride. 🤍
We dreamed about what it would feel like to finally bring Above the Noise to the playa, but nothing could have prepared us for what it actually became.
Through the dust, the rain, the wind, the mud, and everything Black Rock City threw our way… we got to watch this thing come alive.
Above the Noise was always meant to be more than a piano in the desert. It was meant to bring people together — and somehow, it became even more than we imagined.

To every person who climbed, played, danced, listened, stopped by, helped us, supported us, or shared a little piece of this experience with us: thank you.

And to our incredible team who somehow made it happen through every curveball the playa threw at us… we f*cking did it.

What an absolutely magical week.

Above the Noise has lived in sketches, workshops, spreadsheets, trailers, cranes, and late nights for months.
We can’t wait to watch Above the Noise rise from the dust and finally share it with all of you.
Thank you to everyone who’s followed the journey, encouraged us, shared our story, and supported this project along the way. Every message, every share, and every contribution means the world.

❎❎ 4 year anniversary :)

4 years ago today I launched my company @xxbyjaxx. I was talking with my brothers about wanting to make rave kandi into a full metal piece of jewelry you can wear daily, inspired by my late brother WHØMP who always wore plastic kandi necklaces even tho he wasn’t a raver. I said you know what, fuck it let’s do it. I knew I wasn’t the only one that would love this idea.

Found a manufacturer, ordered 100 necklaces and dropped them a month later. The first drop sold out that same week.

I started getting messages from people telling me things like they’ve never been complimented in public before until someone complimented their necklace. Or they met someone at a festival who was wearing the same necklace, they normally don’t talk to people but this gave them a reason to make a new friend. These messages were blowing my mind, it was the craziest wave of happiness / motivation I’ve ever felt. The rest is history.

From seeing the first person wearing one of my designs in public when I met @bubba__garcia at EDC, to being in Arizona last month meeting 20+ people in the crowd wearing my art. Nothing makes me happier :)

Over the years I’ve had the blessing of working with some of my favorite artists and getting the chance to drop collaborations with some of them. S/O @svddendeath , @gravedgrmusic , & @will_sparks + teams for trusting my vision and giving me the chance to share this with your fanbase.

To all the places I’ve been, people I’ve met, and memories I’ve made thanks to these necklaces; a big I love you 💚

4 years later, over 4,000 individual items sold, and a million moments of gratitude and excitement knowing this is still just the beginning.
