2nd part of the snow day!!!

Group pics, Juan, Moe & Alex riding, ash and I chilling. There were 2 more blizzard clouds that came out, but In between those they all got some great riding in. As we left another storm was coming in lol. Good times for all.

Snowboarding Day 2 @snowbasinresort

Ash, Izzy, and I opted out that day. And Ash and I chilled on the patio and in the lodge. Maurice’s lifelong buddy he was stationed with in Washington, Kevin and his gf joined us as well. It started off a beautiful blue bird day.

They all went over to the new lift by Strawberry and ran into a blizzard watch the video going up one of the lifts. Thankfully Mr. Richey was wearing yellow and became the guide for them all, as everyone else was in black lol. Ash and I saw the huge cloud and blizzard go toward them and tried to warn them but they were already in it. There is also video of Alex cruising down a run after they got out of the blizzard.

Part deux……………….
The wait was worth it, the lightning hold was lifted and we all had an absolute riot in the powder!!!! We only had a couple of hours, but it was so nice, a lot of people left so there wasn’t a line at all and it felt like we had the resort all to ourselves!!!

We had a dinner break and did a couple of runs after before they closed, the winds had pick up a ton if you watch the video of Ash and Keith going down a run.

We kept telling Moe that it snowed just for him as we haven’t had any big snow storms for a minute.

When your big bro comes into town just for some spring snowboarding……… but so does a blizzard and there is a lightning hold. 🥶🥶🥶

It was DUMPING on us and it was wet, heavy snow.

See part 2, did we leave and go have dinner and drinks somewhere or did we stay and try and get some boarding in if the lightning hold lifts?

Last snow storm we took advantage of it and had a lovely snow day with the fam minus Izzy boarding. We had some lovely powder to play in.

Alex brought his homie Axel and taught him how to snowboard for the first time as well. He did awesome!!! As the resort was closing the clouds started to break and blue sky and sun came through. It would have been even more lovely to board then but it was time to grab some early dinner at Carlos and Harley’s. Always greats to be out in the mountains!!!! Hoping to get in some spring boarding as well.
