✨ I’m back! ✨

I am incredibly honored and excited to share that I’ve been re-elected/returning as this year’s Student Representative to the ASID Central California and Nevada Board! 👩🏽‍🎨🎨

As many of you know, I recently graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Interior Architecture and Design, and I’m currently continuing my journey pursuing my Master of Architecture. Having been exactly where you are, and still being in the thick of it as a grad student I know firsthand how intimidating, overwhelming, and downright scary those “professional” networking events and industry spaces can feel.

But this year, I want things to be different.

My goal for this term is to make a lasting, tangible impact. I want to actively bridge the gap between students and practicing designers. It is so easy to feel like those are two entirely different worlds, but the truth is, we need each other.

This year, my focus is on:
🫶🏽 Creating meaningful, accessible plans and events designed to actually benefit students and give you the tools, confidence, and connections you need.
🫶🏽 Uniting the creative world with the student world, breaking down those intimidating barriers so we can collaborate and learn from one another.
🫶🏽 Strengthening our community. No one should have to navigate this journey alone. Together, we can build a stronger, more supportive network where students can truly thrive.

I know the immense value of community, and I am committed to continuing to support you, advocate for you, and ensure your voices are heard at the board level. Let’s make this year transformative, inclusive, and, most importantly, impactful.

Here’s to breaking barriers, building bridges, and designing our future TOGETHER! 🫶🏽✨

Please reach out to me with your ideas, questions, or just to say hi. I’m here for you.

✨ Looking Ahead to 2027! ✨
I’m honored and excited to step into the role of President-Elect for the ASID Central California/Nevada Chapter for 2027!
My journey in design began long before my involvement with ASID. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, I’ve always had a passion for creating spaces that are both beautiful and meaningful. As a designer and Certified Kitchen and Bath Designer, I love being part of an industry that brings creativity, problem-solving, and people together.
Over the years, ASID has become so much more than a professional organization to me. Serving as Finance Director gave me a deeper appreciation for the work that happens behind the scenes to support our chapter, our members, and the future of our profession. It also strengthened my belief in the value of getting involved, sharing ideas, and building relationships with others who are just as passionate about design.
As I take on this new role, I’m looking forward to helping our chapter continue to grow, creating opportunities for connection, and celebrating the talented designers and industry partners who make our community so vibrant.
I’m grateful for the chance to serve and excited for what we can accomplish together. Here’s to fresh ideas, new connections, and a fantastic 2027! 🥂✨
