For this redesign, making the kitchen beautiful was only half the assignment. We wanted every inch to have a purpose. Full-extension drawers replaced hard-to-reach storage. A few inches beside the sink became a custom pull-out instead of a filler. The space beneath the induction cooktop became a shallow drawer. Structural posts were incorporated into the cabinetry, and the back of the island gave us even more concealed storage. I probably walked around this island a hundred times. 😂 We planned it so two people could comfortably cook, prep, open appliances and move around each other without feeling cramped. We even planned the stone layout carefully to maximize the material we purchased and minimize waste. That’s the difference between making a kitchen prettier and actually designing one. And what you see here is only half the story. Behind those doors and drawers are some of my favorite details. Because a beautiful kitchen is great. A beautiful kitchen that makes your life easier? Even better. Next up: we’re opening the cabinets. 👀 Hood @zlinekitchen Appliance Brand @lgusa Workstation Sink @ruvati Faucet @deltafaucet

A quiet introduction… This kitchen was designed to feel as though it has always belonged here — layered with warmth, softened by time, and refined with thoughtful modern detail. Classic forms meet gentle European influence, where painted cabinetry, aged-inspired finishes, tailored millwork, and curated lighting come together in a way that feels both familiar and elevated. There is something timeless about a space that doesn’t announce itself loudly. Instead, it invites you in slowly — through texture, proportion, and light. From the sculpted hood to the delicate stone surfaces, from the softly patinated metals to the intentional moments tucked into every corner, each detail was chosen to create harmony between old-world character and present-day living. Over the next few moments, I’ll be sharing the layers that bring this kitchen to life — the craftsmanship, the materials, and the subtle decisions that make a space feel truly complete. Welcome inside. 🤍 📷 @luisbonetti_photo
