Lock your doors.. I’m Robin da hood

On a serious note, sitting down to write this had me at such a loss. How do I sum up such a profound part of the past fourteen years into one little post? I remember the day my mom signed me up for dance, she took me to watch a recital and I immediately fell in love. Dance has given me some of the best lessons, role models, and memories. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without it. I’ll miss all the grumpy (and delusional) team dinners, late practice nights, class dress up days, and so much more. Thank you to all my teachers for the knowledge you have poured into me, all the people I’ve gotten to perform alongside for always giving your all, and my parents for never letting me believe that any goal was unachievable.
While this chapter of my life may be closing, I’m so happy that I get to continue to take dance into the next one. I can’t wait to see where this dream takes me.
The best truly is yet to come.

different type of senior sunday today 🥹

the little girl in me would never believe yesterday was my last dance recital ever. it’s so hard to put into words what dance has meant to me all these years. dance has been such a huge part of who i am. it gave me lifelong friendships, confidence, discipline, and a place that always felt like home. no matter how stressful life got, the studio was always my safe place. i grew up there. it’s bittersweet knowing that chapter is finally coming to an end. i can’t explain the feelings i had yesterday. especially before stepping onto the stage for my last dance ever. looking around and seeing all my best friends, knowing this is it. as soon as i got on stage and the music started i lost it, i kept looking around while dancing at my friends. once the curtain dropped, i felt something i had been distancing myself from feeling all year. thank you to my teachers, teammates, family, and everyone who supported me through every performance and every season. i’ll forever be grateful for all the memories, lessons, laughs, and moments i got to experience. one last recital, one last bow, and a million memories i’ll carry with me forever. these girls are truly my best friends and i don’t know what to do without them. i don’t even know what to do in my evenings now!

Goodbye dance competition season 2026. Truly the end of an era. I love my team with all my heart and some of the best memories i've made has been with these girls. I don't think anyone will know me the same way these girls do I love them so much and I can't wait to see what will happen next season!🥹🫶
