Under the chuppah at Hotel Jerome. It almost rained but Mother Nature just knew she couldn’t do that to Devon & Steve; the sun came out perfectly. Jewish traditions, garden ceremony, candlelit tables, peach and rust florals, and a crowd surfing groom. This wedding had range. We love range.

Aspen in the fall understood the assignment. 🍂✨

Emily & Brian’s wedding at Dunbar Ranch was pure autumn magic—golden landscapes, rich seasonal tones, and nature showing off in every direction. A celebration that felt completely at home in the mountains. 🤎💍

We're still reminiscing about Sophia and Ian’s magical, whimsical mountain ranch wedding.

It takes a team of incredible event professionals to make it all possible.

Getting ready photos are some of my absolute favorites to capture, but there are a few things that make a huge difference in how they turn out, and I want every couple to know them before their wedding morning arrives.

For everyone: natural light is everything. If you have a choice of rooms, choose the one with the biggest windows. It will change your photos completely.

For the brides: build more time into your morning than you think you need. A relaxed, unhurried getting ready experience is visible in every single photo. So is a rushed one. That being said, make sure that everything you need to do doesn't wait until the last minute.

For the grooms (and I say this with so much love)... slow down. You don't have to be ready in 5 minutes. Put your tie on with your dad. Pour a drink with your guys. Let your best man help with your jacket. These are the moments you're going to want to remember, and they happen in that quiet window before everything begins. Let me be there for them.

And please, for the love of all things beautiful, lay out your details the night before. Watch, shoes, cufflinks, vows. You can put them in your shoe box and hand them to myself and my assistant when we arrive at your getting ready location. This helps us photograph the details of your day and aren't running around like we're on a scavenger hunt.

After years of photographing weddings, these are some of the best tips I can offer to get your morning started off right. I hope this was helpful! Be sure to share it with someone getting married or save it for later to come back to before your big day.

We’re West Coast Music, so you know we have to represent the West Coast wherever we go! Still D.R.E. is always a fan favorite for the dance floor.

We love seeing everyone start to slouch and sway when they hear @gradybrutha & @boyzeesmusic start to rap to this beat towards the end of a night.
