One of my favorite parts of Buck Point Ranch is gathering around the table. Chef Jay has a way of making every meal feel special. The freshest ingredients, thoughtful details, and food made with so much heart.

Today’s menu included yellowtail flown in fresh from Japan with shaved black truffles, grilled chicken sandwiches, heirloom tomatoes and burrata, and Colorado Palisade peaches.

Grateful for days like these.

Yesterday, a lightning strike sparked a fire @buckpointranch.

We watched firsthand the extraordinary courage and professionalism of the @basaltfiredepartment ,
BLM Federal Fires, along with the pilots, dispatchers, and first responders who responded so quickly to protect our home, our neighbors, and this beautiful valley.

Thank you to every person who answered the call, to our incredible neighbors…including @outofboundsranch…and to the friends who showed up, checked in, and offered help without being asked. We are so grateful to be part of this community. ❤️🚒✈️

Hunting season 2025 is a wrap and already missing it. Taking my rifle on long walks in the woods and sharing a forever passion with Hudson……memories that last forever. In my opinion, there’s no better teacher then experience and nature. Experiencing nature is the embodiment of gratitude and appreciation for life.

Had an incredible 10 days in the backcountry with my brother, @aspensmainingredient doing Carl things. Didn’t find the buck we were looking for after hiking many many miles and basins and countless hours spent glassing, but there’s no where I’d rather be in September than the high country of Colorado.
