16 pts in the First Half! Rolled my ankle to start the 3rd and came back to finish strong at the end of the 4th Qtr. But huge Shout out to my team for holding it down! We played through injuries, sickness, heat exhaustion, but WE got it Done! Let’s Go Knights!

When the kids you train start carrying the message beyond the gym… you know it’s becoming bigger than you. 🅰️🅿️ Luis used “Keep 🅰️🅿️” as a quote for his project. That’s what this is all about. Impact that extends beyond basketball 🏀 Keep 🅰️🅿️. Always. #AspiringPerfection🏀

Nothing but smiles at the end of this one. 🏀❤️ Another close game and another loss, but honestly… does that part even matter? Lucas was LOCKED IN tonight. Starting five at center, playing tough defense, scoring a couple, working with his teammates and helping keep this one within eight points. What I loved most was watching the work start to show. The after-school practice. The extra shots. The time after practice when nobody is making him stay. He’s putting in the work, and little by little, you can see it showing up when the game starts. And on defense? He was NOT giving up that ball. 😂 He was becoming downright dangerous out there… well, as dangerous as an almost 9-year-old basketball player can be. 😂 A little Magic & Bird on the soundtrack… and apparently somebody took that personally. 🏀😂 Wins will come. Right now, I’m just loving watching him compete, learn, work with his team and walk off the court smiling. That’s a win every time. ❤️🏀 #ProudDad #YouthBasketball #DefenseWinsGames #Type1Diabetes #t1dwarrior

Super good session with Aspiring Perfection yesterday morning 🏀🔥 Lucas was locked in from start to finish, putting in a ton of work on his dribbling, ball handling, and shooting. Lots of reps, lots of focus, and just continuing to build that confidence one session at a time. Keep working. Keep learning.
