And just like that yesterday was the last day of Miss Utah. What a week. I am so grateful for these girls and the friendships I have made. I am grateful for the legacy of Miss Utah and all the incredible role models we have met💗 This week represented not only my hard work and preparation, but also my growth. This organization has helped me to become more articulate and poised. The interview portion has always scared me, but I was honored to be the Non-Finalist Interview Winner!! I’ve also become more confident in who I am and what I stand for. People told me I couldn’t find a modest evening gown, or that it didn’t matter for events throughout the week. I’m grateful I stayed true to who I am and was able to be a force for good. I had no idea how many people would notice or stop me for choosing the dress that I did. I am very humbled and honored to have so many little girls looking up to me this week. And I’m grateful that I got to represent American Fork! I absolutely love the AF community and it has shaped me into who I am today❤️

I am grateful for all the other titleholders and their support throughout this week. I couldn’t have done it without my amazing hostesses that I love and adore. And I was constantly blown away by the amount of support I have had. I am very grateful for the lessons I have learned and opportunities I have received because of this program❤️

Congrats to @erikajdalton your new Miss Utah!! She is absolutely perfect for this role and I can’t wait to see the change she makes this year👑✨

And special thanks again to the Evans family for awarding me such a generous scholarship! I got to meet their nieces today and it was so special!
