bday week (so far)

- fab date night then met up with my sibs for margaritas hehe

- walked face at the 404 ball & gave miss bungalicious

- walked body on the main stage at BGO with my dawtah. We came home with the luscious body trophy and thee overall OTA body win/ cash prize (FIRST GP for our girl Maniac Muli & a year on from her debut, ikdr)

- spent intentional time with creative community leaders & the ANITO crew at Whatipu beach. GG & I facilitated our Mauwai meditation with them and had lots of kataz with my sissy Pounamu.

- Sistrah Gardenia & I experienced the ANITO show together too and it blew my mind!!!

- fobalina seafood lunch and shopping with my bestie bubby, Alex.

in Aotearoa’s most competitive design awards BEINGS was up for three finalists against some of the biggest budgets and most seasoned industry professionals - and we won.

very proud to share we came out with a GOLD in design craft: photography, and two SILVERS in social good and small scale websites

with only a bare skeleton team, and some government funding we ranked up next to the best - because our kaupapa was strong

@beingsdotco was awarded a gold pin at the recent @bestdesignawards for design craft: photography ✨

@leonbristow and i decided to take our time with creating this image library. instead of cramming it into a day or two we did a whole bunch of mini shoots, trying to hit a range of different styles along the way. of course this was a whole lot more work lol but it felt right. we shot on the street, in my living room, in the studio, sometimes with a full team and sometimes just us. we wanted to tailor the photography to each of the wonderful people in front of the camera and ultimately celebrate and uplift their unique qualities, aka the whole kaupapa of the beings project. léon, thank you for going all the way with this one and bringing me along for the ride 💞
