Brand: Assaad Awad Collection: Metamorphosis Venue: L’Àgora building (Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències) Invited Celeb: @rossydpalma In the most spectacular venue, L’Ágora in the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències by Calatrava, our fashion show, “Metamorphosis,” unfolded a mesmerizing blend of mythology and mystery. The collection showcased haute couture looks intertwined with unique back spines and bone-like accessories crafted from coral, epitomizing the fusion of elegance and raw nature. Models graced the runway in heedless shoes, custom-designed in our workshop, each embodying a different essence of womanhood—from the most classic to the wildest. Each piece was a narrative, celebrating the diverse facets of femininity. The show culminated with the bride look, modeled by the amazing Rossy de Palma. Dive into the enchanting world of “Metamorphosis” and witness the extraordinary transformation.

This is the process behind our collaboration with MEGARA representing San Marino for Eurovision 2024. First we digitally designed and morphed the vertebrae to create an aggressively animalistic spine, mimicking the silhouette of a hyena. Using elastic recycled material, we 3D printed the file for lightweight and flexible purposes in our workshop/fablab. After hand painting 🎨, we assembled it onto a leather hand-stitched harness base, hugging the neck and ribcage to anchor it to the artist’s body. The final product exudes a Tim Burton-esque, comic-friendly vibe—aggressive on stage yet visually appealing. Las plumas tienen dos tonalidades, una reflectante que actúa como un espejo, en el que todos podemos vernos reflejados y coger así la fuerza renovadora del Fénix, y otra mate que representa los sueños que aún estar por realizar y que gracias al poder del Fénix sin duda conseguiremos alcanzar.
