This is #myfuckinghooray
Over the past few weeks, I've had to say goodbye to one of my favorite places in the world— my grandparents home, which I basically grew up in. That was so bittersweet. Someone else will get some amazing use out of it, and they're moving in, starting tomorrow. All good things must come to an end.
But a day or so later, I got to shoot with my friend @folwelltimothy and make some awesome art (you should totes check out his page, hes doing some AMAZING shit over there)!
On Thursday, I got back to my apartment and found that my first purchase from @myfavoritemurder had come in the mail and that's just something to celebrate because #toxicmasculinityruinsthepartyagain is my favorite (and often, most applicable) statement which I use in my day to day.
On Friday this week, I was able to catch up and walk around bicentennial gardens with @l.0.k.e.y and catch up with each other in what felt like ages.
Yesterday, I was finally able to wear my black lives matter shirt (made by a local Greensboro gentleman!) without being berated by old racist white men, because I'm working in Greensboro again, and nothing feels better than being able to have great conversations about BLM, how our generation can change the course of history, and how we will affect future black leaders and give them the ability to use their voices, loud and proud.

And finally, not pictured: I have a job interview AND my COVID vaccination scheduled for tomorrow.

You have to take the good with the bad, and I'm learning that. But right now, it feels like things are looking up.
Thanks to everyone I mentioned. I couldn't have made it this far without you. 🖤🖤🖤🖤
