Whatโ€™s a wine region that you think is underrated? Iโ€™ll go firstโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ทGreece! Earlier this week, I was lucky enough to attend a deep dive into the โœจWines of Greeceโœจ by The Consulate General of Greece in Toronto. It was hosted at the fabulous Mezes restaurant on the Danforth (๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ๐˜ข๐˜ณ๐˜ต ๐˜ฐ๐˜ง ๐˜Ž๐˜ณ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฌ๐˜ต๐˜ฐ๐˜ธ๐˜ฏ) and I instantly felt transported to my travels from earlier this year๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ท Letโ€™s chat a bit more about the history of Greek wines, and when I say history, I mean that the country has been producing wines for 4000+ yearsโ€ผ๏ธ Itโ€™s literally helped shape the western wine culture we all enjoy today.
