As a mom who just graduated with her business degree in marketing and was working at a tech start-up in Silicon Valley, I consistently found myself not satisfied with the impact I was making at my job and I was determined to do more. So I quit my job and Trésor was born in July 2021, bringing my small idea to life. Starting with our gorgeous Chérie candle, she is made of 100% soy wax and hand-poured in house in San Francisco, California. Furthermore, her name stems from the nickname my dad calls my mom, "Mon Chérie".  So thank you for choosing Trésor (French- Noun; Treasure), I hope you Trésor your candle for many lifetimes and are inspired to do what makes you happy every single day.”

| @co_mrkt a community amplifying the emerging AAPI creators 💡 @jessicarm 🇵🇭 🗓 5/7 @kibonobori @terasaki.budokan 👇 RSVP www.co-mrkt.com “Hey there! Jess here, founder of co-mrkt. I started this project in May 2021 in response to the rise of anti-Asian violence. Like other Asian Americans, I was deeply affected by the tragic Atlanta spa shootings. There were already so many anti-Asian hate crimes and incidents throughout the pandemic but this pushed me to want to do something for the community—more than just donate to an organization. After attending a candlelight vigil in LA’s Chinatown in remembrance of all victims, I thought about how I could contribute. In this time of fear and sadness, what could I do to activate joy? In my love for building community, event organizing, supporting small businesses, and amplifying AAPI creatives, co-mrkt was born.”

| @yolelefoods 🌍 Sharing sustainable African ingredients + flavors with the world. 🌾 Meet fonio: the ancient West African grain 🌾 🛒 Yolele.com sprout.link/yolelefoods They have such a fun website! "Yolélé was founded in 2017 to create economic opportunity for smallholder farming communities; to support their biodiverse, regenerative, and climate-resilient farming systems; and to share Africa’s ingredients and flavors with the world. Yolélé is changing conditions for rural West African smallholder farmers. This population is among the world’s most vulnerable. Many young people seeking job opportunities simply leave – often to overcrowded cities where jobs are hard to find or risk their lives on the dangerous path towards Europe. Simply buying more of West Africa’s oldest cereal grain helps to alleviate extreme poverty, but we’re going a step further to truly unlock opportunity and transform communities in the West African Sahel."
