A little Good News Tuesday worth sharing! 🍓

We were honored to help celebrate two very special recognitions last week at the @plantcitychamber Salute to Agriculture Luncheon.

Congratulations to the Young Agriculturalists of the Year and Supporter of Youth in Agriculture—individuals whose ties to the Florida Strawberry Festival make their recognition especially meaningful to us.

We also extend our congratulations to all of the deserving honorees recognized for their dedication to agriculture and the next generation. What a SWEET group to celebrate!

This isn't just a song to me.

Before cancer, before my kidney transplant, and before life changed forever, I spent my days on a tractor doing the work I loved.

If someone gave me one more opportunity, I'd climb back in that seat tomorrow without hesitation.

Until then, I'll keep believing, keep fighting, and keep hoping that one day someone gives me that second chance. 🚜💚

If this reached you, I'd truly appreciate a follow, a share, or even just a comment. You never know who might see it.

I hear memories of the life I loved. Also it will keep me close to my father who passed but also who raised me on the farm he worked for as to which I was also born on. Neat N Sweet Farms, now Kathleen Farms.

Being a tractor operator wasn't just a job—it was part of who I was. Even after everything I've been through, I'd still go back in a heartbeat if someone gave me the chance.
Never stop believing in second chances. 🚜❤️

I do apologize for everyone I tagged but hopefully, I can get a chance to meet with the ones that I need to talk with in hopes of being able to work again.

Biochar is a part of the solution, but not a solution in itself for regenerative agriculture. Like a dry sponge, it’ll adsorb anything in the soil if it’s not inoculated (if you’re looking to remediate a contaminated site , let’s talk) . Inoculation is easy, and it’s cost effective, and we are privileged to work with a select few in Florida making the solution! We appreciate the comments and questions and looking forward to growing w yall 🌱🙏🏻🪱🌱🪵🔥🌎 #biochar #soilhealth #regenerativefarming #floridafarm #floridaag

As a third generation citrus grower, I cannot accept that the industry which was once the backbone of the sunshine state is done, and fully believe that regenerative agriculture practices will be a necessity for the industry to revive.

University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS) released some of the first Florida based biochar research yesterday, highlighting how biochar can support citrus production during droughts. This is a massive step towards showing, through data, how regenerative practices can support Florida’s agricultural industries during times of strict water shortages. (Link in comments)

We are grateful for this collaborative support bridge building across the state, and eager to deploy more of our BAR Biochar into research projects across the world. #biochar #soilhealth #regenerativefarming #floridafarm #floridaag
