20% OFF - STUDENT NIGHT, a plastic free start to the new academic year! 🌍

We want plastic-free, high quality, local products to be even more accessible to those on a student budget! So we are offering 20% off everything, plus a complimentary zero waste gift when you spend over £30 and free sample snacks on the night!

If you have been conscious of the affect on the planet because of your single use plastic consumption, then this is a perfect opportunity to make a change!

The event will take place on 2nd October 6pm to 8.30pm. You can arrive at ANY TIME between these hours for your shop (please be aware it is normally the busiest between 6pm-7pm). IMPORTANT: Please purchase tickets for £1 in-store or 5 tickets+ can be purchased over the phone 0121 389 3473. We only have 50 tickets available so please be quick if you would like one as we will not be selling tickets on the door. *Please note max spend is £75pp.

We have previously had a 50% no show rate when tickets were free on Eventbrite so we wanted to ensure that the students that really wanted to shop plastic free would get a fair chance of coming and ultilising this fantastic discount! Please present a valid student photo card at the till when buying your tickets and/or when you attend the event (please bring your uni/college letter if date is not shown). We now have over 600 plastic-free products available, from all types of food, to toiletries and cleaning products! Check out our product list, allergen and hygiene policy and transport info on our website: www.thecleankilo.co.uk (clickable link in bio). Prepare for your zero waste shop now and collect suitable, clean, reusable containers (these can be ones that were doomed for single use) or you can purchase some lovely glass or tin ones from us. But don’t worry we will have paper bags and donated containers available too!

Please share on your network and tag a student friend who you think would love this! 💚

We look forward to seeing you!

When I quit my job last year and started a PhD, I always knew I would love the opportunities where I got to present my research. The other week I attended my first official resarch conference as a PhD Research Speaker all the way back at Aston. Always good to go back to where it all started off @1takemotivation #BAM2019 #Research #astonuniversity #backoncampus #stayhumblebuthungry #academiclife #grateful #entrepreneurship #believeinyourself
