Wedding postcards from a few places I got to call work. Different coastlines, different people, same obsession with keeping things exactly as they felt.

Shot on film because some places just belong there. From Riviera Maya to Cabo, San Miguel de Allende, Mexico City, Puerto Vallarta, and everywhere in between.

If you love me at all - you’ll watch this film because IT COULD BE OUR BEST YET 🔥

And YES, this wedding was freaking beautiful. The design. The location. The florals. The fashion. Every little detail had been thought through and the vendor team absolutely knocked it out of the park!!!

But that’s not why I love this film so much.

Megan + Patrick cared deeply about how their wedding felt. They wanted it to be warm. Nostalgic. Full of their people. Full of pieces of their story. And then they actually let themselves LIVE in it. 👏🏼

Like Megan casually getting on stage and singing Pink Pony Club?! An immediate career highlight for me 😂

Their relationship has this little theme of “let’s go for a walk.” It’s woven into their story and became this tiny thread throughout the day. While we were filming getting ready, I noticed “Let’s go for a walk” written on Megan’s calendar and just about melted. It’s such a small detail, but THOSE are the things I love finding. The little pieces that might mean nothing to anyone else, but mean everything to them. 🥹

They also wanted the film itself to feel nostalgic, so we mixed our digital footage with Super 8 and camcorder. And in perhaps my favorite random wedding-day interaction, I met Edward, one of their guests who ALSO brought a Super 8 camera. 😂 We ended up swapping footage afterward, and you’ll actually see some of his shots woven into this film. Edward, my guy, THANK YOU.

Then there was the surprise national anthem performance, by THE Jim Cornelison you guys!!!! It meant SO much to the family and watching everyone’s reactions was just 😭. One more piece of their story instead of something simply added because “that’s what you do at weddings.” @anthem_singer

And I think that’s what made this entire day work.

It was insanely beautiful without beauty being the point.
Being fully freaking PRESENT was the point.

When you combine that with a planner, designer, photographer, florist, and entire vendor team who absolutely understand the assignment… boy oh boy. You get days like this.

Ok just go watch it please!! I’m seriously so proud of it 🙏🏼
