What a time… 🖤💛🤎

I can’t believe I’m moving on to such a momentous chapter of my life. It feels like just yesterday I was learning how to open a locker, acing junior research at MMSTC, making my first high school friends, and opening Newsies at WCSPA. I didn’t believe it when they warned me how fast it will go, but I understand them now. Change is a tough beast, but over time, you will adjust. You cannot stop moving and living your life. That is what I intend to do. I have faced a lot of challenges during the last 12, 4 years, and even the past year. But I kept showing up and not letting it in the way of what I wanted to do. The lessons I have learned and the memories I will cherish, will continue to guide me through this next big step! Thank you to all the people who have supported me over the years. It truly takes a village, and I appreciate all the time and kindness you have given me. And thank you to everyone to attended my party as well! I was so happy with how it turned out and you guys made it 10 times better! 💜🥰

Can we go to prom, question? 🪨🌟

This past month I had the honor and pleasure of attending De La Salle’s prom with my incredible friend Gabe. There is so much to say about this day, so naturally I’ll start with the theme. Gabe and I met at Elite Space Camp last summer, so after finding that gorgeous Jovani masterpiece (shoutout to my queens at @viperapparelprom ) we decided to make our own prom theme! Thus, Space Prom was born. ✨

Then, after much deliberation on a picture spot, we went down to Detroit! Our first stop was the Michigan Science Center where they let us use their newly renovated planetarium for the perfect celestial backdrops. We’re so happy with how they turned out and are very grateful for the opportunity! We then took some regal pictures at the Michigan Central Station. It was my first time visiting that building and it is no less than stunning. Finally, we met with a group near the marina in St. Clair Shores and took off on the super fancy and awesome BOAT 🛥️

We ended up sailing all the way to Belle Isle and the view of Detroit on the skyline were wonderful. Now, my best highlights of the night were the butter cake and ice cream, exploring the boat, getting the dance party going, sitting at the front of the boat watching the shore go by, and not falling into the water. By the time the boat pulled back into the marina I felt like I’d lived two more lifetimes. It was the most fun I’d had at a high school dance ever. Thank you Gabe for inviting me to a night of laughter, dance, and sights! 🪩🫶

Also, at the after party, I had a great time beating Gabe at Mortal Combat 😁✌️

Last competition 🥹💜

It’s so crazy that it’s all over. I was such a wonderful time though. I placed 7th with my Money solo and received a platinum. #My first time performing a contemporary solo this season and I could not be more pleased with my progress. I received platinums all year for that as well. Thank you to Mr. Mark and Ms. Jess. These solos mean so much to me and I am so glad they both did well this season. I’m so proud of all my friends in Wicked (and all the other dances too of course!) for taking home a first place win too!! Congratulations to everyone on a successful season and to my fellow seniors as well 🫶✨

Gabe is heading to the Big House 〽️. He is going to be studying Aerospace Engineering, with a double minor in Biomedical & materials engineering. Our astronaut 🚀 is doing big things and he hope to see him in at NASA one day. Congratulations to Gabe on his amazing accomplishments at De La Salle!

Elite Advanced Space Academy - 2025 - Descartes 🚀

One of the best weeks in my life! From scuba diving to a 6 hour mission from 8pm - 2am it was all a blast! To top it off, we also won the commanders cup! 🏆🏆🏆

I could not have asked for a better team. Some of the best people I have ever met, and we all had a great time together. I am so grateful to have made so many lifelong friends. The best group I have ever been apart of!

WE THINK THEREFORE WE ARRRR 🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️

And that's a wrap on the WorldStrides Rice Aerospace Academy! I got the honor to learn so much and, more importantly, make some incredible friends! (I'm looking at you, Mars, Ruger, and Andrew.) This was incredible and definitely worth it! ..Okay, well maybe not definitely, but close.
