Seven years of Neptune Discs. Our new double LP, ‘A Portal To The Unknown’, brings together a lot of what the label has become over that time.

The sound has grown, but those staples are still there. From Thurlow Joyce’s ultra-absorbing dub techno to the glitchy, warped prog of Tifra, Wigs and Aiden Francis.

Wigs & Body Clinic have been part of that journey, with three EPs, a remix each and VA appearances between them. Tonight they join us in Edinburgh for a two-hour b2b, alongside Astro and Rounds b2b Plastic GRN.

The physical side of the label is important to us. Making the records, getting together to hear them on a club system, and being able to buy them directly from us. We’ll have vinyl available throughout, including early copies of the seven-year LP.

Before we head to Belgrade, it felt right to do one where the label’s from.

Today, 5–10pm. People’s Leisure Club, Edinburgh.

A Portal To The Unknown – 7 Rotations of Neptune Discs brings together 12 producers across a double LP. Tifra and Match Box return following their own ep's on the label this year, joined by familiar contributors Wigs, Aiden Francis, Jeku, Cybernet and Mahkina. COZi, Dive Crew and Thurlow Joyce make their first appearances, with Milès Borghese and Biodive completing the four sides.

Wigs’ “Strangers” and Aiden Francis’ “Uno” glitchy, warped prog. COZi makes his Neptune debut with “Ride The Snake”, a lean, stripped-back tech-house roller that brings early-2000s sound into the present. Jeku follows with “Droop”, a trippy, ozone-soaked slow roller, while Thurlow Joyce closes with the warm, deeply submerged dub techno of “Sundowner”.

Beyond the vinyl, three digital exclusives expand the release: Bert Vesper’s “Babbel Truc”, Azzecca’s “Home” and Foley’s “What Could've Been”.

Mark your calendar—we’re opening the portal. 👽

On Saturday 10 October, Neptune Discs marks seven rotations with five hours inside the world of the label. From afternoon into night, Edinburgh’s People’s Leisure Club becomes a physical extension of the records—one room, one system and 200 people.

Across more than 50 releases, Neptune Discs has connected the dots between the warped progressive sounds of Roza Terenzi, Tifra and Olsvangèr, Shjva’s ultra-absorbing dub techno and stranger mutations from across the ozone.

Heading up the party are Neptune Discs artists Wigs and Body Clinic, coming together for a special two-hour back-to-back set. Label founder Astro joins them alongside Rounds b2b Plastic GRN—five hours built entirely around the artists and sounds within the label.

Tickets on sale now via Resident Advisor.
