𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙜... 𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗨𝗥 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞 🎉 “Get up, show up and get it done.” –— Leovich Kambonde is a qualified marketer, photographer & the owner of Astro Photography. — "Photography has always piqued my interest; the idea of being able to capture and tell a story via photos fascinates me. I began my photography on cell phones, shooting sunsets and nature, nothing serious, until lockdown occurred, at which point I began using the work camera & ventured into business fully. I began on my own, using YouTube tutorials & recommendations from other Namibian photographers. Astro Photography specializes in event photography, lifestyle shots, outdoor photography, wedding photography, culinary photography, & other types of shoots (excluding studio photography). It is necessary to recognize our market strengths & where we may succeed, as well as our weak aspects, and studio photography is unfortunately one of them. Making a reputation for ourselves has been quite a challenge seeing that there are many businesses in the photography industry, getting our name out there, getting people to trust our work & standing out were all challenges we faced. These were overcome by being different & delivering quality work on time. Another pivotal aspect of our journey was the invaluable guidance we received from @augusto_bolas , an award-winning photographer & owner @thephotoboooth. This mentoring not only taught us technical skills and insights into the art of photography, it also helped us gain a better grasp of the industry. At Astro Photography, we believe teaming up with others helps build brands by increasing exposure & connecting with new people. Collaborations also boost word-of-mouth marketing, creating a positive impact on brand growth and success. Our commitment to working together goes beyond capturing moments; it's about contributing to the collective success of the brands we collaborate with.” Find them at: Email: loskambonde96@gmail.com Contact: +264 817303253 Instagram: @leoviich & @astrophotographynam

Recently, someone close to me asked me a twinset of questions… “The recognition & applause you receive from people— do you take it seriously? How often do you give yourself credit for your achievements?” It struck me in that moment that I am my biggest critic and I rarely pause to give myself the flowers I deserve. My desire is to continuously become a better version of myself at every new stage of my life, so much so that I forget about how hard I worked to get from one level to the next. Go where you are appreciated and celebrated, yes, but first… 🔑 Celebrate yourself. 🔑 Affirm yourself. 🔑 Give yourself the bouquet— heck, the entire flower shop. If the imposter syndrome gets to you, remember that you did not get to where you are by accident. So here she is, ladies & gentlemen: a two-time Editor-in-Chief! I’m so proud of you mama 🧡
