ASTYM isn’t just “scraping.”

It’s a regenerative treatment that helps your body:
✔️ Break down scar tissue
✔️ Improve blood flow
✔️ Stimulate tissue healing
✔️ Restore movement

Jake’s proof.
After struggling through shoulder pain, ASTYM + rehab helped him feel significantly better in just 1 session —moving stronger, faster, and pain-free 🙌🏻

Less pain. Better function. Real results.

AMAZING recovery tool! ➡️
•
Pauly has been coming to us every week since 2021 to get a recovery session in. Even if he is feeling good, he still comes in because he knows he needs it! He does CrossFit, so he knows it can take a toll on his body!
•
Astym is a great recovery tool that lays down collagen, encourages regeneration, and gets you feeling better, faster. 💨

Benefits of ASTYM 🤔

🔆 A clinician certified in the ASTYM System uses patented instruments to evaluate the tissue, locating dysfunctional soft tissue through the resonance of the instruments.

🔆 The treatment/stimulation from the instruments initiate a healing response. Research indicates that there is an increase in fibroblast recruitment and activation following treatment with the ASTYM System instruments.

🔆 As the healing process progresses, a customized exercise program is prescribed to encourage optimal tissue healing and collagen remodeling.

🔆 Throughout treatment, patients are encouraged to stay active in their work, sport and daily activities. This facilitates tissue healing in a functional pattern and encourages the tissue to remodel in a way to support the demands of the patient’s activities, which decreases the risk of re-injury.

Reduce your risk of injuries from the ground up.

The plantar fascia is subjected to a lot of stress and strain on a daily basis, causing it to be overused or overstretched. Spooner Peoria, Joe Schwartz, PT, DPT, uses methods like ASTYM® and an exercise plan that alleviates inflammation in the plantar fascia while also strengthening and stabilizing foot muscles.

Get ahead of potential injuries—visit a Spooner therapist for a recovery plan from day one.

To schedule an appointment with Joe or another member from the Peoria team, visit the link in our bio!
