Congrats to Andrew Kim for signing his first professional contract with Black Volley Beskydy in the Czech Republic! 🙏🏼🇨🇿

After multiple First Team All-American awards and the illustrious and highly-coveted NCAA DIII National POY award, Andrew now gets to fly to European lands and showcase his talents and athleticism in a highly-competitive men’s volleyball league :)
A true scholar-athlete and student of the game, a cosmopolitan, diverse, respectful yet relentless young pro, Andrew is the epitome of whom we consider a true Nomos guy. We are pumped and excited to follow his season and new pro career. Go Black Volley Ostrava!

First Pro Contract: 10 Year Journey
🇺🇸🔜🇨🇿

HUGE congratulations and massive shoutout to long-time Training Matrix Athlete @asungmoonkim for signing his first ever professional indoor volleyball contract! He wrapped up his last training session with me today and is headed off to Ostrava, Czech Republic! 📍🇨🇿

Our journey together started almost exactly 10 years ago and it has been nothing but an unforgettable journey since. From watching Andrew grow up as a young high schooler in Orange County, to accepting his college offer, to setting (and then) breaking NCAA attacking records, then earning both All-American and Player of the Year Honors, to now signing his first professional indoor volleyball contract, and all of the work plus everything in between… absolutely unreal.

Witnessing this young man’s incredible growth and development from the sidelines these past 10 years together has to be one of the most fulfilling, proud, and cherished dynamics for me both as a coach and a friend. I will forever be grateful for Andrew’s trust, commitment, dedication, consistency, respect, and willingness to be pushed/mentored, whether near or far.

Super proud of you big guy, keep up the good work, wishing you the best of luck, much love, and go kill it out there. 👊🏽❤️

WE OUT HERE! 🙌🏽
