Chief of Staff: The Chief of Staff supports the President in student government operations, manages internal functions, and prepares agendas for meetings. They oversee student appointments to university committees and report updates to the Full Senate, helping ensure the organization runs smoothly.

Attorney General: The Attorney General provides legal advice for ASUNM, maintaining the Constitution and Law Book, and offering opinions on legislation. They serve as Parliamentarian, attend meetings, and assist in legal matters, ensuring student government actions align with the law.

Director of Communications: The Director of Communications manages ASUNM’s marketing and PR efforts, advising on media outreach and promoting ASUNM on campus and social media. They organize communications, collaborate on materials, and ensure alignment with university requirements.

Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): The DEI Director promotes inclusivity in ASUNM, advising on practices and ensuring events and policies reflect diverse student needs. They oversee DEI training, lead the Joint Council, and work with university offices to maintain equity-focused initiatives.

Chief Justice: The Chief Justice leads the ASUNM Judicial Branch, overseeing constitutional enforcement and the election process. They ensure fair rulings, provide legal guidance, and work with other branches to maintain the integrity of student government policies.

You know it’s funny, I never do one of these end of the year posts since every year, it’s always been the same: uneventful, tedious, and overall boring (with sprinkles of fun here and there). Outside of family and the occasional times I hang out with one person very close to me back home, I’ve always been mostly alone, drifting away longing for ANYONE to connect with me and see me for who I am and not for someone hiding who they are behind a mask. But after such an incredible year where I have been my most productive socially and career-wise (thereby kickstarting the beginning of Alan-Mania ofc), I can safely say this is without a doubt, the BEST year in the history of my 22 years of life on this world. On top of that, I got to meet so many incredible people I’ve come to know, where I got to make movies with them and hang out with them outside of class, and created unbreakable bonds with them in this year alone. I truly, have never felt more loved, accepted, alive, and more importantly: happy, in all of my life. Everyone I tagged in this post has a special place in my heart and have consistently improved my mental health in ways I could never say about anyone else I’ve met throughout my existence on this world. You all are like family to me, and I truly do not know what would I do without any of you…..I love you all so much 🥲❤️ (majority of 📸 pics taken by the swag as hell @samuel_shorty.x )
