Autumn 🍂 stack

@neon.novella tagged me in an autumn stack. There is something special about fall. The air gets more crisp, sweaters and fires make life more cozy and we all throw candy at begging children.

What is your favorite thing about fall?

I was tagged by @dans_bookscape to share some of my favourite reads of the year so far 📚

This wasn’t an easy task 😅 I genuinely haven’t read a bad book yet this year, and narrowing it down was tough. Every book I’ve read has given me something, but these are the ones that immediately came to mind.

I’m tagging the maximum number of people Instagram allows (and a few more in spirit 😄) but no pressure at all. If you’re seeing this, feel free to join in.

Do you see any of your favourites here, and what have been some of your best reads of the year so far?

🐉✨️ Dragon Stack ✨️🐲

I was inspired by these stunning bookends from @geek_and_artsy_bookish to gather all my book dragons together and don't they look wonderful?! 😍

So I've tagged a few people to do the same! But no pressure, its just for fun 🥰

Head over to the Geek and Artsy website to get your own dragon book ends! Don't forget to take code VBLIB15 with you for 15% off 😘

❓️ Who is your favourite fictional dragon? 🤔

Mine is an evil dragon 🤣 but I was swayed by the goegrous teddy version of her I got from Disneyland Paris... Maleficent 😍

Happy early #twofortuesday with current reading and coffee tag by @redreadingroom with a mini #libraryhaul from today with both #writtenonthedark by #guygavrielkay and #sharpeseagle by #bernardcornwell
.
I have been wanting to read the Shape series for 6 years since I read the last kingdom. I didn't know which way to start, publication or chronological. One of the places I go to often had the whole series 2 and half years ago from the UK, but the newest one, and both ones you would start with. After seeing a post about it last week, I looked up the series and saw it was available in mass market paperback from 20 years ago, I decided to pick it up.
.
.
This year has the Guy Gavriel Kay year with people really only loving and reading Lions of Al-Rassan, then A Song for Arbonne, and The Fionavar Tapestry, everything else does really matter. You got to love the re-hype of certain authors after a year or two of nothing.
.
.
I hope Written on the Dark will be good, since I have seen mixed reviews of it, and too bad, this one of those books the buyer from Barnes and Noble just don't want to buy for all its stores.
.
.
.
I feel like Written in on the Dark is one of those books that my library bought because I had it on hold on release, but the library just never sent. This had a hold on it since it was cataloged last Thursday, but the person never picked it up.
.
.
.
I don't drink coffee, but I am obsessed with the alkanine water I found at the dollar store lately.
