👑 | Five-Time Champion

Congratulations to Ash Sutton, your 2026 BTCC Champion and the first driver in history to win five titles!

And it’s no secret that Ash loves Croft.

🏁 2016: His first-ever BTCC win came here, in a wet Race 3 in his rookie season
🏁 2017: Back on the top step at Croft on the way to his first title
🏁 2025: That final-hairpin move, going from third to first in one of the wildest races Croft has ever seen
🏁 2026: A stunning move around the outside at Tower on lap one, then gone. Moving him fifth on the all-time winners list

Where it all started… and where he keeps coming back to win.

Will Ash add to his Croft collection in 2027?

What a way to celebrate an incredible year as an ambassador for the Wera Alliance Race Academy! 🏁🔥

A massive thank you for the amazing opportunity to jump behind the wheel of a British Touring Car today! What an unbelievable experience! 🤩

It was brilliant to catch up with everyone from the Academy and round off what has been a fantastic year.

So grateful for all the opportunities, support and memories this year has brought.

📸 THE SHOT | MOTION IN THE FRAME

Speed isn't always about freezing the action.

From the football pitch to the race circuit and speedway track, panning and slower shutter speeds offer a different perspective on sport.

By following the action and allowing controlled motion blur into the frame, photographers can capture more than a single frozen moment — revealing the movement, pace and intensity of competition.

In this edition of THE SHOT, Matthew and Cameron Gale explore their different approaches to photographing motion, sharing the images, camera settings and techniques behind their work.

Three sports. Two photographers. One approach to capturing movement.
