Patty Hajdu, the core of the role of a public servant is to listen to your constituents. Flight Attendants across Canada continue to tell the government #UnpaidWorkWontFly. If you truly support workers, you will take action and uphold the fundamental value that when a Flight Attendant is at work, they should be paid for every hour they work.

It shouldn’t be a miracle for Flight Attendants to be paid when they are at work. #unpaidworkwontfly #cupe #ourturn2025 Il ne devrait pas être miraculeux pour les agents de bord d’être payés lorsqu’ils sont au travail. #travailnonpayécestduvol #scfp #notretour2025

This year’s Wrapped results are in and Unpaid Work was on top. In 2025 Canada’s two largest airlines’ Flight Attendants go to the bargaining table which means that this is the final year this trend will continue. Unpaid Work Won’t Fly. #unpaidworkwontfly #cupe #ourturn2025 #unfaircanada

@aircanadacomponent has launched their campaign for the bargaining of their next Collective Agreement. The campaign (@unfaircanada) demonstrates how this industry runs off of unpaid labour. It’s is important to show Air Canada that not only are their 10,000 Flight Attendants united, but all 18,500 Flight Attendants of the Airline Division of CUPE are standing with them to end the practice of unpaid labour. The message is simple, if a Flight Attendant is in uniform, at work, performing work related duties, they must be paid. #InUnity #CUPE #SCFP #UnpaidWorkWontFly #UnfAIRCANADA

On this National Aviation Day, we want to raise awareness to the pay practices within the industry.

While Companies may be showcasing photographs of our smiles today, we believe it is important to highlight our ongoing campaign for #unpaidworkwontfly.

Our message is simple: when a Flight Attendant is at work, performing their work-related duties, they should be paid.

CUPE Local 4060 wishes you a happy and safe holiday season. Throughout the year, each and everyone one of you works tirelessly as a safety professional to ensure that our passengers get to their destinations safely.

For those of you that are able to have some time off we wish you a restful, healthy, and well-deserved break spending time with those that can recharge you going into 2024.

Particularly this time of year brings specific challenges to the flying we do. We send our gratitude and admiration for those of you that will be working on the holidays to ensure that our passengers are able to make it to their destination. The sacrifice that we make does not go unnoticed and we want to say thank you. Your entire Executive is out on the line with you with each of us working both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

We are wrapping up the 12 Days of Unpaid Work campaign which brought additional light to the numerous tasks that we complete unpaid. In 2024 the Airline Division of CUPE will continue the fight to end unpaid work in our sector, which is only magnified at this time of year. From all of us at the Union we wish you a happy, healthy, and safe holiday season. #UnpaidWorkWontFly #AirlineDivision #CUPE
