Coastal moments ~ Wrapping up 2022 with a fair dose of gratitude and simple pleasures, including but not limited to the ocean, friendships, seafood, Jazz, @squidinkworks’s family, Nazaré, ceramic at @casatelier.porto, ramen, @ateliersemforma and a laptop overflowing with treasured photographs always beautifully printed by @pigmentocoletivo.

More of this in 2023 🖤🎞️ Cheers to new beginnings & bonne année friends!

#feraeplantaeportum VII
Rua Dr. Alves da Veiga
Artemisa dracunculus

4 azulejos 10x10
You can support #feraeplantae project by purchasing any of the panels.

There are 2 ways for this:
1. “Buy” one of the panels. Yes. It’ll be exhibited forever on a wall at a certain street of Porto (or maybe in another city). You’ll pay per the number of tiles it contains and will receive the drawing I made to decide how the tiles are organised together with a Polaroid photo of its placement. Each tile has a value of 20€ and you must buy one panel in total. And I can add one more tile with your name if you want.
2. “Order” one panel. You choose the weed you want me to portrait, take a good frontal picture of it, measure and send it to me. I’ll make the panel and send it to you together with instructions to install it. In this case you’ll receive the panel and the drawing and the price will be 30€ per each tile in the panel.

I’ll be posting here each panel so you can ask to buy it. I’ll be forever grateful. You’ll help me to turn this project even more infinite.

🇬🇧 I made this and another coffee set…yes me!!
I love the simplicity of the colours blending naturally during the firing process.
I finally used it today for the traditional Portuguese afternoon coffee and cake! I’ve been trying to be good, hence not using it until now

Thanks so much @maria.ulecia, 💛 @casatelier.porto always

Be inspired!
.
The casatelier in the middle of Porto’s backstreets is a special place. For here, not only do floral patterns entwine themselves on the exterior façade of the narrow townhouse, but a subtly composed work of art also blossoms for the guests inside. Alongside the artist and hostess María Ulecias and her dog Oliva, the love of detail lives here above all. Together with all visitors who want to be inspired in the small guesthouse. Whether for the drawing and ceramics courses in María’s nearby studio or for any other time out.
