Reflecting on a weekend filled with art, culture, and community. 🕊️✨

Contemporary Jordan brought together 36 exceptional Jordanian artists, curated by @theartinerary , showcasing a diverse range of paintings, sculptures, photography, collages, and drawings.

The journey began with a private viewing on June 5th, graciously hosted by the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, Dr. Bertram von Moltke and Ms. Anne von Moltke, and curated by The Artinerary. We were then thrilled to welcome the public on June 6th & 7th.

We are deeply grateful for the wonderful atmosphere, the inspiring conversations, and the overwhelming feedback from all of our artist and guests. Thank you for supporting Jordan’s vibrant art scene.

Made during a summer in Amman and inspired by Palestinian embroidery, this piece sits between inherited memory and lived distance. It reflects on what it means to feel at home and the quiet grief of leaving it.

From the making of “Wild Step” all the way to its final delivery!

Metal and yarn sculptures have always held a deep place in my journey. Line by line and thread by thread, they became a core part of my voice until they turned into a true Leen Jamil signature.

This piece carries one of the most meaningful stories I have woven so far, and I will be sharing that story with you soon. These works demand an unbelievable amount of time, detail, and devotion, and this beautiful intensity is exactly what I thrive on in this practice.
