updated nursery reveal ✨🦋🩷

I never got around to sharing parts 2–4 of how I transformed this room from big brother’s nursery into a space fit for our little princess before her arrival (and maybe I still will soon!), but for now, here’s the final product and I am OBSESSED! 🥹

This room will forever be the most special room in our home to me. So, so many precious memories and nights spent here with Maitland as his nursery, and now it’s been given a new chapter with lots of blush pink and girly touches for our sweet Goldie girl. 💛

Every single piece in this room holds a special meaning to me or to our family in some way, and I poured so much love into making it just right for her. Too many little details to tag them all here but I’m always happy to share sources with anyone interested!

Marigold Luke Mantooth, you are SO incredibly loved. I can’t wait for all the memories we’ll make together in this room, just like I did with your big brother.

Behind the scenes with Maxine in Heirloom, looking for her perfect little photo spot. 🤎

I often do this before a professional photoshoot, wandering around the house, placing, moving, and dreaming about what will work best.

I thought you might like a glimpse into what happens behind the scenes…I slipcovered a favorite chair to showcase Maxine in our newest color, Heirloom, and she looked beautiful everywhere I placed her! But she has that way about her—making herself at home wherever she lands. 🤎

A beautiful room doesn’t have to begin with removing everything that came before it.

We embraced the warmth of the original woodwork, and balanced it with tailored ivory chairs, the families existing mahogany table, collected artwork and a chandelier that gives the entire room its moment.

The result feels light, layered and timeless—like it has always belonged here. This is the kind of transformation we love most: honoring the home while making it feel entirely new.

bc we all know i love a good before and after. our powder room has been “done” for a few years now but i am always making little adjustments and just added these DIY mahogany shelves yesterday using leftover wood i had in the garage and I AM OBSESSED!!! they give me places to display my knick knacks and put things/phone when using the restroom and i can’t believe i put off making them for so long. using these next few weeks to get as many last min home DIY projects done before baby girl arrives!! #nestingmode #powderbath #wallpaper #bathroominspiration #bathroomdecor
