Singaporean nib meister Thomas Ang, now based in the UK, is a familiar face at pen shows across the UK and US, with the London Pen Show being one of his regular appearances. A professional musician by day, Thomas is particularly known for his love of EF points, tiny stubs and italics.

Founder of Opus Cineris, Anabelle Sophie Hiller is a designer, goldsmith and nib specialist from Vienna. She has specialised in fountain pen nib repair since 2017 and has built her reputation through her work at pen shows around the world. If we are lucky, we may chance upon her famous Harmonic Nibs.

09.08.26 | last weekend i attended the @sfpenshow this event was a good reminder that most people are kind and good. sometimes that's easy to forget.

my friend @kuboandlucy introduced me to @atemlicht and he graciously worked on my @hachimonjiya kubozakura right there in the lobby before the event even started! thank you thomas! he also worked on 4 other nibs for me.

@nagasawaglobal had the 2026 kobe gradation sengari water blue! thank you for your patience!

@jetpens hosted the 2027 @hobonichi1101 preview event and i got to see the jetpen girls! thank you ladies for my stickers! 😉

mr. john with @luxury_brandsofamerica was so kind and generous when i explained that my @colorverse.ink nib and holder were *wonky* when i used them, he gave me a new nib and some suggestions and asked that i email him to let him know if that solved the problem (ugh... it was user error). thank you mr. john!

@itsquynhvu taught the class 'ink your world' and i enjoyed learning about using my fountain pens in other ways other than just writing.

@bloompaperstudio hosted a meet-up. got to meet new friends and talk about stationery with like-minded people.

more to come...

We are proud to feature music by living composers in all our concerts, including several premieres.

Here is @nate_mercieca and @atemlicht performing the premiere of @thomasgibbs.wma ‘s powerful Morning Bird, composed especially for our first concert last September.
The text is by Belal Adnan Mahmoud Abuyiada, a Palestinian doctor in Gaza. @drb13695

Soon we will be opening tickets sales for our fourth concert in October. Also look out for our New Music special next year!

After a lovely summer at @glyndebourne I'm really excited to be returning for the autumn season as Second Bridesmaid in Le nozze di Figaro and covering the role of Frankie for the world premiere of Spark. I’ll also be performing in their Beethoven 9 performances and the Christmas concerts.

Bit of Werther in the Organ Room at Glyndebourne from a surprisingly stress free recording session alongside some lovely pals ❤️ #postthataria

Emergency commission requests: COMPLETE! ✨
-
Hi all, last month I made a post about opening emergency commissions due to an unexpected bill that come up from a past landlord! Since then, I have recieved an overwhelming amount of support from you all! 🥹 THANK YOU SO MUCH from the bottom of my heart to those who commissioned me, sent a me Ko-Fi donation, or helped boost that post! Your support has helped me out IMMENSELY! 😊🌟
-
The bill is almost paid in full now thanks to you all! 🔥I'm now just waiting to get paid from work, then I'll pay the remaining balance myself 😊
-
All the slides on this post, contain every single request I got and drew! I got WAY more requests than expected, so I was BOOKED & BUSY in July/early August lol! 🥶🔥 I'm once again SO grateful for the support I received, alongside everyone's patience whilst I completed all the comms too! 🥰
-
I have been asked about doing general commissions for after I finished my emergency commissions, so my slots are now full up again for the next few months! Once the remaining requests are complete, I will be taking a break from requests and closing slots until the foreseeable future. THANK YOU! 🌟

More Commissions!
And more lovely ideas, and the cutest pets ever :3

WAITLIST OPEN on Vgen
Just animal commissions right now

I know I already said this the last post, but I really loved working with all of my commissioners so far, they're very sweet and patient, so I really hope they ended up satisfied with the results :3
