Spent a beautiful evening at @kaafinyc that reminded me that chai really brings people together
There were OSTs playing in the background, framed pieces of Pakistani culture throughout, a beautifully draped ceiling, and chai at the center of it all ✨

Came for @athaareco and left with shared roots and a community worth knowing 🤎

What better way to debut speaking on a panel than celebrating my African heritage on Eritrean Independence Day? Serendipity. Thank you @melanin.moi for bringing us together for an important discussion but also connecting with brilliant women of the diaspora. I was able to not only highlight beauty gems of Eritrea (Quibaat) but also give advice on how to move in this social media space. So humbling to think I have been creating content full-time for 6 years?! So grateful for each and every one of you for believing in me and tagging along! 🥹
