“Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity”- 1 Timothy 4:12

Safe to say, these youth are incredible and seeing them evangelize was so empowering for the body! It was a whirlwind of a week full of good conversations, beautiful views, a change of culture, and bagged milk. All praise to Him who is holy forever!

“Taking the Jersey off for the last time”…

Something many players say at the end of their career and it always hits them the same way. No matter how practices you’ve survived, how many games you’ve played or how many memories you made along the way…nothing prepares you for that final moment of taking it off for the final time.

I’ll never forget the teammates who became family, the coaches who believed in me, and the man that this game and the people around me have shaped in the process. I wish I could’ve helped you guys this weekend and maybe pulled out the final championship of our careers. But 3rd place at nationals is still very impressive.

Thank you to the coaches who were there the whole time for me during injuries, tough games, and all the loses we had as a team. Thank you a lot to my Grandparents for all they did to provide during all these 13 years. Thank you to my Mom for all she sacrificed for me to play and be the best I could. Thank you Coach Zwiesler for all that advice for games, the pick me ups, and the countless times of wrapping ankles (especially when I forgot to say thank you)

As this chapter closes and I head off to the next chapter of playing at MNU…I walk away with no regrets. Just a heart full of gratitude. Thank you all for the ride. It was more than just a team, it was a second family. I look forward to seeing you all in the coming years and where your life takes you. Good luck to all the guys playing college ball and hope to see you at some games this fall. Thank you all again for this wonderful journey as the Topeka mustangs story closes❤️❤️
