🎭🍫 STEPPING INTO CHARACTER WITH OUR MANCHESTER ASSOCIATES! 🌟 Our Manchester Industry Prep Associates had an INCREDIBLE session with West End performer and choreographer Morgan Scott, and the creativity in the room was something else! 🤩 Our performers explored the larger-than-life characters of Charlie Bucket, Veruca Salt, Violet Beauregarde and Augustus Gloop, experimenting with different personalities, character choices, improvisation and acting techniques. And then came the NEWS REPORTERS! 🎤📺 Each performer had the opportunity to step into the role of a news reporter, thinking on their feet, making bold acting choices and bringing their own creativity to the exercise! These are the moments we LOVE at Industry Prep - watching young performers step outside their comfort zones, build confidence, develop their characterisation skills and discover just how much they can do! We were SO impressed by the imagination, commitment and fantastic performances throughout the session. MANCHESTER ASSOCIATES… WHAT A SESSION! 🌟 We can’t wait to do it all again in Leeds tomorrow! #TheWestEndExperience #IndustryPrepAssociates #ManchesterMusicalTheatre #ActingTraining #YoungPerformers

🍫 MANCHESTER… INDUSTRY PREP HAS OFFICIALLY ARRIVED! 🍫 What a FIRST session for our brand-new Manchester Industry Prep Associates! 🔥 Yesterday our Associates trained with West End professional Morgan Scott in a full Charlie and the Chocolate Factoryworkshop — and he certainly put them through their paces! From exploring the show’s iconic characters and learning how to get into character and make stronger characterisation choices, to working on scenes, solo and small-group performances and learning choreography from ‘Juicy’… they covered SO much in just one afternoon. A huge part of Industry Prep is giving our performers the opportunity to be seen individually, and yesterday each performer received personalised feedback from Morgan on their work — taking the session beyond simply learning material and into developing them as individual performers. The talent, commitment and energy in this new Manchester company was incredible to see. A HUGE thank you to Morgan for such an incredible first session! The experience, knowledge and individual guidance you gave our young performers was absolutely invaluable. Everyone had a blast, came away full of confidence and learnt so much — exactly the kind of training and professional insight we want the next generation of performers to experience. ❤️ @morgsscott Session ONE complete… and we’re only just getting started. 🔥 #TheWestEndExperience #IndustryPrepAssociates #WestEndTraining #YoungPerformers #ManchesterMusicalTheatre

MATILDA ELITE WEST END TRAINING WEEK MANCHESTER 2026! 🎭 WHERE DO WE EVEN START? 🎭 This week has been nothing short of INCREDIBLE. ✨ We are absolutely blown away by each and every young performer who took part in our Manchester Elite West End Summer Training Programme. The talent. The determination. The energy. The commitment. Every single child gave this week 100%. They pushed themselves, embraced every challenge and gave everything they had to every rehearsal. And somehow… by Day 4, we had a complete show. 🤯 What came together in just five days was genuinely spectacular. Watching these young performers grow in confidence, develop their skills and become a real company has been incredibly special — and the feedback we’ve received has been unbelievable. ❤️ A HUGE thank you to all of our parents and families for everything you’ve done behind the scenes — the last-minute costumes, learning lines, props, getting everyone to rehearsals and supporting your children every step of the way. We couldn’t do this without you. ❤️ And a very special thank you to our incredible creative team: 💃 Summer — your choreography was NEXT LEVEL. Watching the children perform was genuinely like watching a West End show. Thank you for leading such an incredible production. @summereltawab_ 🎶 Ewan — thank you for making our vocals sound absolutely beautiful, bringing your incredible musical direction experience to the week and helping us with the technical side too. We couldn’t have done it without you. And to our young performers… You have blown us away. We couldn’t have asked for more from you, and we are SO proud of every single one of you. ✨ You came into this week as individual young performers. You left as a company. 🎭❤️ Thank you for every incredible message, kind word and thoughtful gift we’ve received. It genuinely means more than you know. Manchester, you were absolutely spectacular. We will never forget this one. ❤️ The West End Experience Team ✨

Congratulations to Jessica and Athena who have both earned a place on our Matilda Elite West End Training Programme this summer! Jessica first joined us at our Lion King workshop earlier this month and we were so impressed with her dancing and performance skills that we invited her to audition for our Elite West End Training Programme! She is clearly very passionate about performing and we can’t wait to work with her this summer! Athena first joined us in our summer programme last year (Annie) and has since joined us for several of our training events. We adore working with Athena! She brings amazing energy and confidence to all of her performances and the growth we have seen in just a year has been a joy to watch! We can’t wait to welcome you both to the programme! #thewestendexperience #elitetraining #summerschool #matildajr #musicaltheatrekids

Behind the scenes of our Matilda promo video shoot part 4! We absolutely love this shot! Although it wasn’t use in the final video, we just had to share it! This video was made with these wonderfully talented young performers in honour of our upcoming Elite West End Training weeks this summer, where 6-17 year olds will work with West End and Industry pros for 5 days before putting on a full production of Matilda Jr for family and friends! Spaces left on our Leeds week (16-20 August). DM us for more info. We’d love to see your young performer’s audition! #thewestendexperience #musicaltheatrekids #matildajr #summerschool #westendtraining
