Underwater Camera system for daily video feedback at swim clubs and colleges.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

One of the things I love about swimming is being able to combine technology, training concepts, and immediate feedback to improve my own performance! 🏊‍♂️⚡️

For this session, I paired the Destro resistance system with the Athlee underwater camera, applying a training concept I learned from Coach Bobby Guntoro.

The idea is to progressively manipulate resistance and stroke cycles, challenging myself to produce more force while maintaining efficient mechanics and body position.

With the Destro, I can control the resistance and create different levels of physical demand. At the same time, Athlee allows me to capture underwater footage and get immediate visual feedback on my catch, stroke timing, and overall technique.

What I really like about this combination is being able to connect what I FEEL in the water with what is actually happening underwater.

I can make adjustments, repeat the effort, and immediately evaluate how those changes affect my swimming mechanics. It’s also a great opportunity to experiment with different resistance levels and see how my technique responds!

A big thank you to Coach Bobby Guntoro for sharing this concept! Always learning from other coaches and finding ways to apply new ideas to my own training and coaching.

🚀 Another Elite Workshop is coming to Bay Club San Diego!

After the success of our last workshop, I’m excited to announce another opportunity for swimmers to work on one of the most important parts of racing: TURNS! 🏊‍♂️

This time, we’ll be focusing on flip turns, open turns, underwater positioning, and streamlines, helping athletes understand how to maintain speed into the wall, execute efficient rotations, and generate more speed coming off the wall.

🎥 One of my favorite parts of this workshop is our individual video analysis! Using the Athlee Camera System, we’ll capture above-water and underwater footage so athletes can actually SEE their technique, understand what they’re doing well, and identify areas for improvement. Every athlete will receive personalized coaching feedback and a video analysis to take home!

📍 Fairbanks Ranch Bay Club, San Diego
📅 Sunday, November 1, 2026
⏰ 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM
🔥 Limited spots available!

Stop overreaching in your backstroke! Catch wider, not behind your head. Level shoulders mean a powerful catch. Level up your swim!

What an absolute pleasure it has been to have Marc in the pool today

His goals are amazing and to be a small part of his journey is one that I’m incredibly excited for!

His stroke is already one to behold, going forward we’ve got some brilliant super-fine tuning to do

Swimming smarter, not harder. Stop the S-pull in butterfly by entering with flat palms, not thumbs down. Keep those elbows high to use your forearms for maximum backward force.

P.S. I'm using Athlee.com cameras!

There’s an old African proverb:

Every morning, a gazelle wakes up knowing it must run faster than the lion, or it will die.

Every morning, a lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.

It doesn’t matter if you’re the lion or the gazelle.
When the sun comes up, you’d better be running.

Life doesn’t reward those who sit idle. Whether you’re chasing a dream or fighting to survive, motion is non-negotiable.

Stop waiting for perfect conditions. Stop waiting for permission. The sun is up. *Start swimming 🏊*
