A great experience at the @athlonrub Workshop hosted at @risingtidefinksburg bringing together athletes, coaches, and the combat sports community to explore the importance of recovery, performance, and taking care of your body.

From learning more about Athlon’s products and their role in supporting recovery to connecting with others who share a passion for the sport, the workshop was all about helping athletes understand the value of what happens outside of training.

Thank you to Athlon, Rising Tide Academy, and everyone who came out and made this experience possible!

A HISTORIC EVENT going down in Maryland today. The @amazingmuaythaifestival comes to our great state. I remember staring my journey 20 years ago dreaming that one day Muay Thai could grow to what we are seeing today. And I know this is just the beginning of becoming a massive component of the growing East Coast Muay Thai community. Big S/O to @dmv_muaythai @kogendojo_muaythai for building this up. @wbcmuaythaiusa for giving this region the ability to grow the sport, and everyone that registered to participate. 🥊⚔️ WBC AMAZING MUAY THAI FESTIVAL — USA EAST COAST!

FIGHTERS. COACHES. CORNERMEN. TEAMS. THIS ONE IS FOR YOU!

📅 October 16–18, 2026
📍 Shipley Arena | Westminster, Maryland

You put your body through weeks and months of preparation for moments like this.

The roadwork. The pad rounds. The sparring. The clinching. The kicks. The conditioning. The weight cuts. The travel. The countless hours preparing yourself or your fighters to step into that ring.

But here's my question...

WHO'S TAKING CARE OF YOUR BODY THROUGH ALL OF THAT?

I'm Joseph Kosseh, a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Nursing Assistant with over 12 years in healthcare, combat athlete, BJJ purple belt, and coach.

I know what it means to put your body through the demands of combat sports because I do it myself.

And when I'm not training or coaching, I'm helping people address the tension, stiffness, and physical demands their bodies endure.

Through NOVA'S F.A.R. MASSAGE — Fighting Aches Recovery, I'll be providing paid, combat-athlete-focused recovery services throughout the WBC Amazing Muay Thai Festival!

💥 WHAT CAN I HELP YOU WITH?

🥊 SHOULDERS, NECK & UPPER BACK: Tension from holding your guard, punching, clinching, and absorbing the demands of training.

🦵 HIPS, GLUTES & LEGS: Tight hip flexors, quads, hamstrings, and calves from kicking, knee strikes, footwork, and conditioning.

💪 FOREARMS, HANDS & SHOULDERS: Fatigue from holding pads, coaching, demonstrating techniques, and countless training rounds.

⚡ MOBILITY & FLEXIBILITY: Addressing muscular restrictions, stiffness, and uncomfortable movement accumulated throughout fight camp.

🧘🏾 PHYSICAL STRESS & POST-FIGHT DECOMPRESSION: Giving your body an opportunity to relax and unwind after intense physical demands and adrenaline-filled competition.

My sessions may incorporate targeted therapeutic massage, assisted and resistive stretching, active muscle techniques, and mobility-focused bodywork based on your individual needs.

NO TWO BODIES ARE THE SAME, AND NEITHER SHOULD THEIR RECOVERY SESSIONS BE.

THE FIGHT DOESN’T START WHEN THE BELL RINGS. 🥊

Preparation starts long before that.

And at the WBC Amazing Muay Thai Festival USA – East Coast, we’re bringing preparation, recovery, and the experience directly to the athletes.

Friday, October 16 starts at 12 PM.

While fighters move through medical check-ins from 12–6 PM, I’ll be there with NOVA’S F.A.R. Massage, providing on-site massage and recovery sessions for athletes preparing to compete.

Then at 6:30 PM, we take preparation from something you hear about to something you can actually see, learn, and experience.

Athlon Rub × NOVA’S F.A.R. Massage

Traditional Muay Thai preparation meets professional hands-on bodywork in a live athlete recovery presentation.

See the technique.
Understand the purpose.
Feel the difference.

And when the presentation ends, my work doesn’t.

From October 16–18, NOVA’S F.A.R. Massage will be providing paid massage and recovery sessions throughout the festival for fighters, coaches, and attendees.

But I’m bringing more than my table to WBC. ⚔️

For the first time…

SCENTS OF THE AFRICAN VIKING makes its WBC debut.

I’ll be introducing Viking’s Silk — my own handcrafted, small-batch body butter — with products available to experience and purchase throughout the weekend.

So whether you’re stepping into the ring…

Coaching someone who is…

Or coming to experience an incredible weekend of Muay Thai…

Come find the African Viking. ⚔️
