OCTOBER 1ST. 🍂

Today, we want to highlight the protected Ecosystem we’ve been blessed to organically build and collaborate with so far.

At Next Play Bay Area, we’re intentional.

We aim to EMPOWER brands, businesses, coaches, athletes, and like-minded community organizations that believe in creating something bigger than themselves.

This isn’t about taking over.
It’s not about competition.
It’s about COLLABORATION.

We believe every organization has a purpose, a lane, and a story worth building.

Our goal is to connect those lanes, strengthen the community, and create opportunities where everyone can WIN TOGETHER. We also completely understand that this isn’t for everyone.

This Ecosystem is still growing. 🌱
And we’re just getting started.

I’m excited to kick off a new Mental Health Series!🧠💛Over the next few posts, I’ll be sharing some of the key lessons from The AthMindset® Workbook: Training Your Mind for Optimal Mental Health in Sport and in Life, which I co-authored with Lisa Bonta Sumii.

We’ll talk about the three areas that shape mental health for athletes: self, stress, and society — and practical ways athletes can check in with each one, just like they do with their physical health.

Because being your best means training both your body and your mind.

💜 strength doesn’t mean someone isn’t struggling

in honor of #suicidepreventionawarenessmonth - I’m revisiting conversations from my pod -Athlete Mindset about #mentalhealth, #loss, #healing, and asking for support

🎙️first up my conversation with Angela Lee Pucci @angelaleemma - former 6x #mixedmartialarts world champion

Angela opens up about her own mental health journey, the loss of her younger sister Victoria, and the work she’s now doing through @fightstoryofficial to create space for honest conversations about #mentalhealth.

her story is an important reminder of what can exist underneath #strength, success, and the identity of being an #eliteathlete

we never truly know what someone may be carrying. 💜

🎧 see the @c8ke.app link in my bio. Listen. Share. Someone may need to hear this today.
