Your path is yours to walk. But you don’t have to walk it alone. 💖

The spiral reminds us that our journeys rarely move in a straight line. We circle back, meet familiar parts of ourselves in new ways, and keep finding our way home, each time with a little more tenderness and truth.

This January, Sacred Spiral returns to Morocco for a water-themed retreat at the beautiful Atlas Kasbah, near Agadir. Lindsay, Georgie and Dymphi will share sunrise Sufi whirling, Flow Dance Meditation, voice activation and a floating sound journey, with space to listen for what your own path is calling you towards.

@augustwren and I are now in Marrakech after over 3 weeks in Morocco teaching our @uptrekcom retreats
Here’s some of what I painted
Folds on fabric and water were requested from me on both retreats and I found myself embracing my fashion illustration roots more than usual!
I am very tired and wish I could be like I dream of Jeanie and blink myself home
One more day and we’re planning to go tomorrow to draw at @elfennmarrakech !

This January, Georgie and I are returning to Morocco to host our second @sacredspiralretreats

Our home for the week will be @atlaskasbah , an award-winning ecolodge tucked into the Atlas Mountains, surrounded by gardens and wide-open skies. The family who run it welcome you with such care, the food is beautiful, and the accommodation is stunning. It feels like a truly special place to hold this work.

I’m so looking forward to co-creating with @dymphipeeters , bringing our explorations and learnings from this past year into a shared journey through voice, music, movement and whirling.

Together, we’ll share sunrise Sufi whirling, @flowdancemeditation voice activation and a floating sound bath. Viv and Toni from @somaticsoundwavehealing will be there to support us in the water.

Atlas Kasbah will be our home for our second Sacred Spiral retreat. ✨

When we visited last year, we knew we wanted to come back. Tucked among the gardens, with the mountains all around, it feels peaceful, warm and wonderfully intimate. There are nine guest rooms and three family suites, beautiful Moroccan details, delicious food and space to gather, practise and whirl. The family who own the ecolodge will welcome us with a Moroccan tea ceremony as we begin our time together.

It feels like the perfect place for Sacred Spiral, and a beautiful way to begin the year.

What if, for one week, your only job was to have a very good day?

Wake up with the sun.

Move your body before the rest of the world has properly started.

Eat very good food.

Swim, explore, read, nap, massage, hammam - whatever takes your fancy.

Move again.

Eat again.

Connect and laugh with lovely people.

Then retreat to a beautiful room and sleep like someone who has absolutely nowhere else to be.

There’s plenty of movement on HOLD’s Morocco retreat. But there’s also plenty of space between it.
