Home is where the heart is, and a piece of my heart will forever be at camp cana and with everyone I encountered there. Truly greatest 7 weeks of my life.

And to think, if all of these people and this place is so good, then how much greater does that make my Lord! Even His most precious creation is only a small glimpse at the glory and power of the Creator.

@lifeteen you continue draw me closer to the Lord and provide me with the greatest brothers and sisters in Christ I could ever ask for! Praise God for a summer of child-like joy, friendship, sacrifice, diving into the sacraments and falling more deeply in love with the Eucharist!!!

This is not the ending I was expecting nor hoping for, but it’s the one God has in store for me and I’ll continue to cling to that. I have medically retired from collegiate volleyball due to multiple hip injuries and extensive surgeries. This will be the first fall that I am not playing ball since I was seven years old, and the rollercoaster of emotions is very prevalent as I head into what will hopefully be my last surgery this week. I am so grateful to every coach, teammate, and program that has poured into me and given me the opportunities to play the sport I have loved for the past decade of my life. Special thank you to Coach Dave for giving me the opportunity to fulfill my dream of playing Division 1 volleyball. The Lord has blessed me beyond measure through this game as an athlete, and I am so excited to see how He moves and works in me as a coach for the years to come. #1 signing off.
