Excited to officially kick off our 2023 after-school program! In partnership with @ourhouse_auburn. The D.A.C. Way is offering 4th and 5th graders a safe place and a fun time including sports and fitness classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
This week, Coach Aubrey and @coachrandy talked to the kids about the program and asked what activities they like to do - a true team effort.

Starting off with a silly photo! We partnered with @darkbuttafly85 of Compassionate Hands of Hope to host the “First All Inclusive ‘Hands-On’ Basketball Camp” in our area at the Boys and Girls Club of Opelika. We are thankful for the volunteers, your support, the turn out, and most importantly— all the smiling faces. Today, we know we made a difference.

Again, thanks to the volunteers who helped make this happen- and @walmart for sponsoring our toy giveaway!

Challenge accepted!!!! All too often, as men, we find it easier to criticize each other instead of building each other up. With all the negativity that is prevailing, let's agree to do something positive for a change.
I challenge each of you to upload 1 picture of yourself Playing/Coaching the game you love ⚾️🏀🏈 . Then tag 10 or more brother's to do the same. Build up another brother instead of tearing one down. I respect all that you men do.

A teacher's purpose is not to create students in his own image, but to develop students who can create their own image. Good luck lil champ #carifta #carifta2019
