June part 2!

Show photos from Arlene’s Grocery with @jaexo.music (photos by @joshthejordan )

Plus a bunch of random little moments, from one of my cabaret offices (the Green Room 42 dressing room), to giant pretzels on 8th Ave, to supportive parents, and beyond.

Hope everyone has a great Pride weekend! Stay safe and hydrated out there, y’all! ❤️🌈

Still listening to @atriptothemoonmusical almost exclusively since the album came out last week 🌝

Thanks to @giocoppolaphoto for these incredible pics from our album release show! Forever grateful to be in community with such wonderful, talented people, especially now.

Thanks to @adamjrineer for bringing us all together, and for writing a sick fucking rock opera 🎸👽

Let’s keep this party popping…on second thought, let’s not pop the party! @willshish first joined us as part of the @moxieartsnyc Incubator launch concert and we’ve been trying to lure him back to the balloon ever since! Will is meticulous and really makes the guitar sing. We’re so glad to have him rockin’ with us March 27th as part of @prospectmusicals’ Ignite Festival (which featured his musical @amberlandmusical last year).

3•3•2026 - the blood moon rises - It’s finally out!!!!!!!
🔥🚀🌕🥁

In June 2025, we recorded the live album of @atriptothemoonmusical by Adam J Rineer ✨ I’m so proud of this and all the work we all put into this show. Adam’s music always pushes me to be a better musician, it’s such a pleasure and honor to have rocked out with the strangest creatures 🥰👽 Thank you for everything @adamjrineer - can’t wait to celebrate tonight!!!!

I also feel so grateful to be amongst some of the most talented and badass musicians & actors I’ve had the pleasure to work with ❤️ In a time where trans and non-binary people are being erased and harassed, we were able to come together and make a LOT of noise and blast off into space. Our safe space. I love the trans community, I love trans art, I love being alive.

We exist, have always existed, and will continue to exist. And played the hell out of this rock opera 🔥

Thank you again @adamjrineer ❤️ It’s always a pleasure and an honor 🥰

I hope everyone is able to take a listen and blast off into space with us!!

🚨This is a sentimental @adamjrineer appreciation post! (yes, THAT Adam J. Rineer, Jonathan Larson Grant Winner!) 🚨

Ahead of the @atriptothemoonmusical live album release on March 3rd (and the release show which you should absolutely not miss), I wanted to take some time to reflect on not only the stages of this show that I’ve gotten to be a part of, but the whole trans musical theatre world that Adam has created, and the community that has emerged around it, including @thirdsex1930 , of course.

When I think about all the truly fucked up things happening in the world to our trans community, this space to create, explore, support each other, sing, cry, laugh, try new things, get a ride home, pile into a diner, and more, feels like a true sanctuary. Not only has Adam’s music given me a huge push I needed as a guitarist, but gives me hope for the future of theater, and that audiences may truly see us, trans creators, as people who can just be as genius and giving and wonderful as our cis peers.

So if you’re free March 3rd at 8:30pm, head on over to Club Cumming to hear us play some stuff from Moon, Third Sex, and one of Adam’s new pieces. As always, I’m so honored to be a part of it ❤️🏳️‍⚧️🎸

Lots of music, friends, family, cats, sweating, etc.

Two more shows in the city coming up before I head to my July cruise gig with Atlantis!

Let’s Hear it for the Boys on 7/5 (I’ll be on guitar, and one song from @amberlandmusical is on the set!)

And then @trummmusic and my showcase of work at SoHo Playhouse 7/6

Come say hi and listen to what we’ve been working on!

Adam J. Rineer’s A TRIP TO THE MOON, directed by and developed with Jason Aguirre, is now on stage through June 23 at HERE Arts Center.

In a celestial rock opera of queer curiosity, A TRIP TO THE MOON blasts off into the stratosphere with a flamboyant Victorian stargazer’s cosmic quest. With a soundtrack that’s a wild mashup of prog, punk, electronica, and 19th-century operetta, this odyssey dares to ask the universe: do we belong amongst the stars? As our intrepid astronomer rockets into the unknown, we’re propelled into a whimsical orbit where desires collide, connections are made, and the Moon herself may just have a saucy opinion on our interstellar antics.

PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE:
Monday, June 9 @ 8:30pm
Monday, June 16 @ 8:30pm
Monday, June 23 @ 8:30pm

Tickets range from $10 to $25, and are available online at here.org.

HERE is located at 145 Sixth Avenue in Hudson Square.
