i spent a week in gainesville, so you know i had to hit my absolute favorite spot… ✨Afternoon✨. Coming here always makes me a little reminiscey and sappy as it was a core part of my college experience(cue the scott street). i dearly miss coming here with @_alyssabarnes_ and my sister to pregame a long day of thrifting. if you wanted to grab a coffee or brunch with me, chances are i would suggest to come here. anyway….. They update their menu fairly frequently, which means i usually get to try something different every time i go (although i dearly miss the lyonnaise salad… pls bring it back). for this trip to afternoon, we started with matchas! Alison got a lavender matcha and i stuck with the basic oatmilk and honey. seriously some of the best matcha i’ve ever had. to eat, we split the turkey club and the house salad. you seriously can’t go wrong with anything on this menu. I’ve missed the gainesville restaurant game since moving to tampa, especially afternoon. no one can really compete with the feeling of a local restaurant in gainesville (i may be a bit biased…). if you’re ever making a stop in gainesville this place is a must try, with serpentine and flashbacks nearby, it’s a perfect day out in Gainesville.
