✨ WOMEN WHO SHAPED ELECTRONIC MUSIC ✨ One of the things I’m most proud of since founding Change the Beat is our Women Who Shaped Electronic Music photo exhibition, celebrating the legendary women who paved the way for generations of artists in our industry. 💛 After two incredible showcases in Toronto and at Amsterdam Dance Event, we’re bringing our exhibition to the legendary fabric London on October 15! 🇬🇧 For our @fabriclondonofficial edition, we’re incredibly excited to expand the exhibition and celebrate some of the UK’s most iconic women in electronic music, including @anniemacmanus , @djrapmusic , @dj_paulette1 , @djlisalashes , @lottiedj , @samdivinedj , @thesisterbliss (Faithless), @djsmokinjo , @nicolemoudaber , @mayajanecolesofficial and @eliandfur ! They join an incredible collection of international pioneers, including Honey Dijon, @crystalwaters , @ultranatemusic , @djminxwomenonwax , @idaengberg , @djannaofficial , and the legendary Superjane collective! Together, this exhibition celebrates 19 incredible women and collectives who have helped shape the sound, culture and history of electronic music. ❤️ 📸 Experience the exhibition during our Beatport Industry Mixer, 7–10 PM, hosted alongside Beatport, @afemorg , @notbadforagirluk and @petetong_djacademy ! Several of the women featured will be joining us in person, alongside some of London’s leading agents, managers, record labels, talent buyers and industry professionals. An incredible opportunity for the next generation of artists to connect with the people shaping our industry! ❤️ A huge thank you to @mcflipside , @umusic aka Universal Music Canada and @nightvision for generously donating this beautiful exhibition to Change the Beat. Their support allows us to continue celebrating these pioneering women and sharing their stories around the world! 🎟️ Join us at fabric London on October 15! Conference tickets include access to the @beatport Mixer and photo exhibition. Tickets at the link in our bio! Swipe through for a look back at our previous exhibitions and the incredible community we’ve built along the way! 💛
