POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

A weekend that looks a little crazy on paper, but what seems to be the norm these past couple of months lol.

We’re heading into another double header wedding weekend.

First stop: Chicago! I’m headed back to Goose Island Barrel House to celebrate Leah & Adam. These two live in Nashville and chose Chicago as the perfect middle ground for their families to come together. One detail I’m especially excited about? Leah’s family is from California wine country, and they’re bringing in wine for their wedding day! As a wine girl myself, you already know I’m here for this one. I love when couples incorporate pieces of their story into their day in ways that feel personal and meaningful.

Then it’s straight back home that night so I can cheer Lincoln on at football in the morning, before heading to High Cliff for Aleigha & Collin’s wedding!

I’ve been working alongside Aleigha throughout the planning process, helping her create a vision while staying within their budget. There is something SO rewarding about watching all the little details, decisions, and hours of planning finally come together. Honestly, seeing it all unfold on the wedding day is one of my absolute favorite parts of what I do. I cannot wait to see their day come to life!

These two weddings officially wrap up our VERY, VERY busy couple of months, with just two more weddings left in our season this November. And when I say I’m running on adrenaline, coffee, and a whole lot of love for what I do… I mean it. 😂🤍

Here we go!

It’s wedding week for Becca & Kyle!

This week we’re headed to the Dandy in downtown Milwaukee for a sweet, intimate celebration. We love a venue with a little personality, and the Dandy’s vintage-inspired charm is the perfect backdrop for their day.

Can’t wait to see this one come together and celebrate these two! 🤍

3-PEAT WEEKEND! 💍

Three weddings, two days, and SO much love to celebrate! 🤍

Kicking things off with Vanessa & Rob’s wedding in Illinois! I’ve been working with Vanessa for over a year to bring her dream wedding to life, and I truly can’t believe the big day is finally HERE! 🥹 I can’t wait to see all the planning, details, and special moments come together.

Then on Saturday, we’re heading back close to my stomping grounds in De Pere to celebrate TWO amazing couples! Abigail & Andrew and Claire & Kyle!

It’s going to be one BUSY weekend filled with love, happy tears, beautiful details, and so many exciting moments. I wouldn’t have it any other way! 🤍

Let the wedding weekend adventures begin!

After a little time MIA soaking up all the baby snuggles, family moments, and kid time, we’re officially back for wedding season! 🤍

While we’ve intentionally taken a step back over the last year to focus on our families, we couldn’t be more excited to jump back into doing what we love most, celebrating and serving our incredible couples.

Kicking off our season with Keely & Tyler in beautiful Menominee, Michigan is the perfect way to start. We can’t wait to share all the love stories, happy tears, and unforgettable moments this season has in store.

Let the 2026 wedding season begin! Xoxo, Des & Alex

Alex and I are endlessly thankful for each and every one of our couples this year. We truly could not do this without you and the trust you place in us. Thank you for letting us be part of some of the biggest, most meaningful days of your lives.

We’re also so grateful for our families, who stepped up in the biggest ways, especially during peak season when we were away almost every weekend. That support means more than you know.

To my body, thank you for holding up through 12-hour wedding days while pregnant! Things didn’t turn for the worst until after our last wedding of the year, as if baby knew! Definitely not for the faint of heart, but so worth it.

All the miles traveled, the incredible venues we were lucky enough to work in, the vendor relationships we built, and the memories made, it’s honestly hard to find the words.

And heading into 2026, I’m excited for growth in all forms!Including showing up better online 😅 Reels, galleries, recaps… it’s time!!! Maybe a social media manager?! Who knows!

This was only year two, and I truly can’t imagine what the years ahead will bring.
If you’re out there wondering whether you should take the leap, do it. You never know unless you try 🤍

Last but not least, to close out an incredible 2025 wedding season! This Saturday we’ll be celebrating Alex + Attilio in beautiful Chicago - the perfect finale to an amazing year of love stories. 💍🤍

As I wrap up my last weddings of the season, I’ll be taking the next few months off to soak in the rest of my pregnancy, spend some much-needed time with my family, and sneak in a little travel before baby arrives! ✈️👶🏼

I’ll still be available by email or phone if you need me - thank you all for such a memorable season! 🤍🫶

Double header weekend to wrap up our 2025 season - while I’m in Chicago, Alex will be in Cudahy celebrating Hope + Ben! 🤍

This one is extra special because Hope and Ben found us through one of our dear past couples that Alex worked with, so it’s only fitting she’s back with some familiar faces to close out the year.

I know I say it often, but I truly couldn’t do this without her. The way she steps in, knows exactly what to say when I don’t, and somehow always ends up exactly where I need her to be - she’s one of a kind. 🫶🏼 I couldn’t imagine a better right-hand girl to go through all of this with!

Here’s to Hope + Ben and the best way to end an amazing season! 🤍
