Introducing KID.

We are over the moon to share our architecture + interiors for @kid_soho in, recently featured in @dezeen . A meeting of Victorian Soho + Central Anatolia, shaped by brick, fire, craft + the warmth of Turkish hospitality.

Thank you @cajsa_lykke for visiting us + telling the story, and to David Carter and Sertaç Dirik for their trust in us to bring this place to life.

There are so many epic stories behind KID: ideas explored, challenges worked through, + the many hands that made it possible.

We are so looking forward to sharing more of the design journey with you, the details and the people who brought it all together.

You’ll find the Dezeen feature via the link in our bio.

For those swapping traditional beach breaks for experience-led escapes, @sailvela is sailing a new route through Indonesia this summer season, from Sumbawa to Komodo National Park through the heart of the Coral Triangle 💙⚓️

The journey explores some of Indonesia’s lesser-known islands, from the peaceful waters of Moyo Island, Saleh Bay, Satonda Island and Banta Island, with opportunities to swim alongside whale sharks, snorkel vibrant reefs and discover a quieter side of the archipelago before reaching Komodo.

From sunset hikes on Padar Island to encounters with the iconic Komodo dragon on Rinca Island, Vela’s 18-person crew takes care of every detail, including PADI diving instructors, a massage therapist and an expert mixologist 🍸

I’ve been trying to find the words to explain just how special last week’s AB Collective launch party was.

Bringing this community together on a summer’s evening brought me an overwhelming amount of joy. I’m honoured to have such creative, inspiring people in my orbit who have championed the AB Collective journey right from the start.

A massive thank you to @marjories.london for hosting such a fun, martini-fuelled party. I’m so excited for what’s ahead as we work together to build new cultural connections, creative partnerships, and collaborations.

And another huge thank you to my friends at @dsanddurga for ensuring everyone left smelling beautiful and the space smelt of my favourite scent.

To my incredible founding travel clients: thank you for your trust and belief in AB Collective.

It is a privilege to work in this industry alongside such genuine forces. I am incredibly excited to continue championing places with purpose, people with captivating stories, and those who aren’t afraid to challenge the norms.

Here’s to the future and can we do that again soon?

There is more than a hint of Narnia to the home of @matthewfreud and @shazzagoldsmith - the amalgamation of three stable buildings and a stable yard it is - unsurprisingly - a trove of modern art and design. Yet as Freud says, “it’s about as far from a white cube as a space can be.”

Inside the London super mews of @loquetlondon jeweller @shazzagoldsmith and @matthewfreud in this weekend’s @fthtsi. A warren of unexpected treasures, split over two levels, the works on show include Tracey Emin, Banksy, JR, Julia Opie and an underwater series by Bill Viola (the furniture is also gallery worthy), and yet the space is very much conceived as a family home for their conjoined family of eight children. “It’s a revolving door,” says Goldsmith. “They come to celebrate, to commiserate, and when they need feeding or a hug.” Adds Freud. “It’s about as far from a white cube as a space can be.” Interview by @aimee_farrell.
