"Just walk fearlessly into the house of mourning, for grief is just love squaring up to its oldest enemy. And after all these mortal human years, love is up to the challenge."

Our foster Leims is officially ADOPTED as of yesterday, but.... sometimes a foster becomes a #fosterfail 😅
Obviously it's hard every time a foster is adopted. I've cried when every one of the 12 I've fostered over the years have left. But after his first adoption interest fell through it hit me like a ton of bricks that I can't part with this boy.
He's completely blind but so gentle, brave, and has the most unbearably cute personality. In the two months we've had him has grown confident and comfortable in our home. It just didn't feel right for him to have to leave when he seemed to think he was already part of the family. We are so happy to have him.

Little week in photos 💐
Trying to be optimistic and happy during covid and an absolutely deplorable presidency/year is, in short, exhausting. Taking a mental time-out to be with my sweet cousins, @moniinthemiddle77, and #1 @christmas____carol has been so good & I'm thankful.

New tags from @sage.designco 😊💕 I've been wanting to order all the pets matching tags for a while and I'm SO happy with how these turned out. How cute is Josie's little camper? 😖🏕 #highlyrecommend #supportsmallbusiness #pets

Happy Halloween!! 🎃
I'm a few days late but I wanted to show off the quilt I made and my cute cats 😸 I wanted to make a Halloween quilt so bad, I was unsure about all the colors but ended up loving it ☺

Skipper is the perfect example of why you should adopt a cat from a shelter 😻. If you missed my post when I got him, he was scheduled to be euthanized along with the rest of his litter. He was only $5. I love our family's pets from breeders absolutely to pieces but nothing has made me happier than seeing my two rescue cats go from being in terrible shape to the loving sweet cats they are now.

Hazel went on her first little hike yesterday 😻🏞 She wanted to walk the whole time instead of being carried!
