Last week we introduced the three DJs performing at Sound Map on 24 October, now it’s my turn to introduce myself 🤓 Hard Techno is trending massively among Hong Kong’s new‑generation DJs 🔝 Leftfield sounds popular in Berlin 🇩🇪 are also very well‑received ⬆️ Veteran selectors spin classic 80s Canton Disco, and there are of course DJs serving Cantopop hits 🎶 Yet my sound has stayed unchanged for decades. I follow the UK underground sound 🇬🇧, heavily influenced by the track selection and intricate mixing craft of Sasha, Digweed and Guy J 🔍 Dynamic shifts, emotional storytelling, deep and hypnotic — non‑commercial! I keep digging and discovering fresh sounds in everyday life, always staying curious 💡 This is me. My name is Tszpun.

Breaks 🔈🔈🔈 Autumn 2026 marks the launch of my brand‑new project 🗂️ Sound Map. I’m truly honoured to welcome Aubi‑One as one of Sound Map’s resident DJs 🤜🤛 Aubi‑One is a French DJ based in Hong Kong 🇫🇷 and co‑founder of ZHU‑ZHU, an organisation that runs music events for charity fundraisers. He has built a strong reputation within Hong Kong’s club scene, having played at iconic local venues including Oma, 宀 Club, Trilogy and more. His carefully curated DJ sets blend psychedelic rhythms, organic melodies, downtempo and deeply transcendent tracks. Sound Map is back on the dancefloor — vibrant, dynamic and packed with diverse sounds 💃🕺 Expect Progressive, Melodic, Afro House, Organic House, Techno and Breaks 🔈🔈🔈 See you on 24 Oct 2026 🫵

l like it 🌟」 跟住我就邀請佢，7月18號參加Downtempo Lab party演出。 Today, let me introduce Sound Map’s second resident DJ — Aubi‑One, who is French 🇫🇷 I remember this spring, a friend came to my downtempolab party. He took a photo on‑site that night and posted it on social media. This French DJ messaged him right away via WhatsApp, asking if there were actually downtempo parties in Hong Kong. That’s how I got to know this French DJ 🤝 I listened to his downtempo DJ set 🔈 The moment I heard it, I thought: “Wow, this is amazing! I like it 🌟” Then I invited him to play at the Downtempo Lab party on 18 July.

For more than two years, I’ve built up my brand Downtempo Lab. It has not been an easy journey. I wanted people to understand our musical taste is never dictated by trends, and to show there is plenty of high-quality electronic dance music beyond mainstream fads. Now I’m launching a brand-new project with a fresh collective called Sound Map. This time we return to the dancefloor — more movement, more range. Expect Progressive, Melodic, Afro House, Organic House, Techno and Breaks, capturing the raw, immersive energy of electronic music. I’m honoured to invite GargoyleGirlfriend and Aubi-One to join as Sound Map Resident DJs. On top of that, we have also specially invited DOMPOON, our guest DJ for our very first party. I will be introducing each of them one by one later. A brand-new chapter unfolds this October. Sound Map, made for lovers of quality electronic dance music.✨
