Happy Mothers Day to all the amazing moms out there and those who fill their shoes. There is no job on earth that requires the kind of strength, tenacity and grit that is needed to love, nurture and guide our children and help them grow into the best versions of themselves, whilst we are also growing into ourselves in situations that are less than optimal. It is not a task for the weak. We are the warriors leading the next generation into the future.

We’re very proud of the coaching staff at RTC. Each coach brings their own unique experience and perspective, all contributing to what we’re building here. They help shape the culture, set the tone, and lead the charge in creating the environment we want for our athletes and members.

At RTC, we believe we’re all in a fight—and our coaches help make sure no one has to face it alone. 💪

Today @thepitnorth closes its doors after many years serving our central coast community. This gym has been my home away from home for the past 9+ years and the memories made here will last a lifetime. These photos range from my very first workout in 2016, to my first belt, to my first fight (and loss) to learning how to build myself back up, and persevering through some really grueling tests, to winning my first fight, and many more fights after that - to reaching the level of brown belt under @castlewilliamsmma. It was on these mats that I learned who I am and what I’m made of. It was on these mats that I was able to move through the grief of losing my little brother to suicide, and became the fighter and woman I am today. It was where my children played and laughed and grew over the years. It was where my passion project turned business @the.visual.knockout was born. It is where I learned the importance of movement and how powerful our bodies can be - and that by strengthening them, we strengthen our minds. I wouldn’t be who I am today without this place and these people. I will always cherish my time here. As this chapter comes to a close, of course we feel sadness, but I know that the winds of change will take what was created here and turn it into something new and beautiful. 💫
