My new Roman Empire is @jon_class, who produced most of @auborybugg’s insanely awesome debut album, collaborating with @frannybanany. OMG OMG OMG. He and @jeremyschmetterer did an *incredible* job on “Hum Along,” and I **reeeeally** hope they’ll be involved in FW1 when the time comes. I said it last night on TikTok Live, and I’ll say it again here: I feel like @jasonvanceharris and @jon_class could totally be Frances Whitney’s Antonoff and Dessner. 🤯🥳 I could run through a f***in’ wall, I’m so excited about this collab! Literally, before I knew anything about it, I was thinking about DMing Frances last week to ask, “Have you ever worked with Jon Class? I feel like you’d be a great match musically.” The only reason I didn’t was for fear of coming across like a presumptuous poser, lol. Like, it seems silly to imagine that Frances would want *my* ignorant-ass layperson advice about producers, when she’s fully immersed in that world and knows 100x more than I do. But omg omg YASSSSSSSS. #franceswhitney #jonclass #auborybugg #swifties #franatics

A blue-collar kid from an Illinois steel-mill town who started playing coffee houses at 13, moved to Nashville, went viral on TikTok with 200K+ followers, and is now making some of the most honest, personal music we’ve heard in a while. Aubory Bugg writes about identity, independence, and the emotional weight of leaving home -- and she does it in a way that hits differently in a room this small.

This one is going to be special. Don’t sleep on it.
