Yesterday we celebrated the NCBC’s first anniversary meeting!🎉✨

📚Part of our group started the afternoon off @barnesandnoble where we went over the power point for March, and revealed the Book of The Month; More Than Enough, by Anna Quindlen!🤩 Next we dove into a scavenger hunt, racing to see who could find our chosen read fastest! (Spoiler, none of us found it and we had to ask an employee.🫩)

🦄 Following our bookstore shenanigans, the rest of our party met up @letshopscotch !🤪 It was a first time experience for a few of us in our group, and we all had an absolute BLAST! 💥 Before starting the immersive art experience, we sat in the communal area while we ordered some fun appetizers & buzzing drinks!🍹🥨 (Which after a couple, made the art exhibits all the more entertaining😉)

🩷 What a wonderful way to deepen relationships, & build a community that is OURS!💖 So thankful for each & every member, even if you have never shown up to a meeting😉

✨July’s No Commitment Book Club was all tacos, margs, and seaside vibes 🌮🍹
✨We met at Taco Vino to chat about Caraval and kicked off our new themed read: Seaside Stories — perfect for those breezy, beachy summer books.🌊☀️👙🐚

✨Next month we’re keeping it chill with charcuterie boards and cozy vibes—because we’re always here for snacks and stories. 📚🧀

📩 Want to join the fun? DM us for the next meetup!

ICYMI:

Good afternoon fellow book enthusiasts!✨

For those who were unable to attend Saturday’s meeting; Here is the presentation which includes the group read for the month of April. Alongside multiple prompts for us to keep in mind as we read All That Life Can Afford, By Emily Everett.🌼

We will be answering each prompt at our next meeting, & therefore ask all members participating in this months read to have their answers well thought out prior to our gathering.

Those who did not attend our most recent meeting, and did engage in March’s themed read; Please feel free to insert your summary for the book you read here in the comments! In part with your analysis of how the book you chose coincided with our Spring Fling Theme💐

Thank you all for your continued support, & we look forward to seeing those who can make it next month!🥰
