East Rankin Academy has meant so much to me over the past 14 years. When my parents were deciding where to send my sister and I for school they weren’t as much looking for the best education or the best athletic program, my dad wanted us to have the same small community he had growing up. And East Rankin gave me that (along with a challenging education and winning athletic teams🙃) I heard it said that it’s the people that make a place hard to leave and I stand by that. East Rankin gave me a community that is stronger than any I have ever experienced and it is so bittersweet to leave. Bitter because I will miss my classmates, teachers, and the routine so much; but sweet because I know I have been trained up in the way of the Lord and I am excited for a new chapter. I also have to give credit to the daily Bible classes that taught me what it meant to fall in love with the Word of God. East Rankin will always have a special place in my heart and I am so proud to be an alumni!!!
